We go here as a family two or three times a month. Small number of seats but food is always great. Chips and salsa are great. Fresh guacamole is great. Will go here again and again!

When you're looking for an escape to good Mexican food, this is the place to be - authentic and priced well. Won't break the budget, but fresh taste

I come here a few times a month to get a bite to eat and drinks with friends. I love the chips and salsa and queso. The food is average for Mexican food. A lot of the plates look the same. I enjoy coming here to catch up with friends and have a good lunch or dinner.

Visited la tolteca during a business trip. The atmosphere is good with music especially in the cantina/ bar area. Chips and dips were good especially as they serve a cream sauce with salsa. I ordered the seafood quesadilla and it was very good. Lots of shrimp and sautéed vegetables in grilled tortilla. A simple dish but many times not good.... More

Good little spot in Churchville but you probably already know that unless you are in town for youth baseball at Ripken or Soccer/Lax at the Club fields. Reasonably priced, great table side guacamole. Solid Go-To

The food is just ok. One person in our party hot mushrooms in their quesadilla and rather than replace it, the waiter argued it was correct and told her she could just pick them out. We never got a drink refill. Won't be back

Whenever we are in the mood for great Mexican food and atmosphere we head to La Tolteca. They are so hospitable! Portions are substantial and flavorful. Service has always been great, drinks are bountiful, and the atmosphere is pleasing! For a nice relaxing meal with true Mexican flair we can't think of a better place close to home.

If you like LOTS of food, this is your place. They definitely don't scrimp on the portions. And flavor? Absolutely awesome. The closest to authentic ethnic food that I've found in this area.
