Kids night and burger night are the same night. My teenager eats the burger and the toddler has a kids meal all while being very easy on the wallet. My husband LOVES the chicken pot pie!!!

I have eaten here a number of times and always been happy with the food and service. I particularly recommend their sauer beef meal. I would prefer a better selection of draft beer, but that's not a big deal. I have also attended events hosted by the establishment and been satisfied with what they provided.
Visited here twice for lunch and both time I was pleased. Ordered one of the lunch specials - service was speedy and professional. Food was excellent. We stayed for quite a bit and no one was concerned as we chatted and enjoyed time together.
Four of us sat at bar. Bartender was excellent. For example: After our meals were delivered, my friend's ketchup bottle made that empty sound, and before we could ask, the bartender brought another bottle to our table. My friends thought the crab soup and shrimp melt was excellent. My crab pretzel was okay. The crab dip was dry and bland.... More
Went there with a friend and had a very nice meal - rustic décor - fireplace is on when appropriate, service was good. We sat in a booth for privacy and no one rushed us, which was nice because there were people waiting but we needed time to visit with each other since we had not had time for some... More
I was looking forward to a nice healthy Salad for dinner this evening. When placing my order, I was told that they did not have lettuce. I can't ever remember going to a restaurant that didn't have lettuce. There really is no excuse for not having lettuce to make a salad. There are plenty of places to go and get... More
Met some family members here for lunch around the holidays, and we all agreed that this was a very nice experience. Sue was our server, and she was friendly, attentive, professional, and offered good advice. The food came fairly quickly, and we were all impressed. I had a full rack of ribs, and they were very good!! Most of the... More
As you can see from the title, we think they have it down right as far as their sour beef and dumplings go. When all you heard from everyone at the table was ' Mmm so good ' after each bite, that tells the story. We were seated immediately, had a friendly attentive server named Amber, and truly enjoyed our... More
Maryland crab soup was the worst I've ever tasted. Tasted like bean soup mixed with vegetable soup. Couldn't eat even half the cup. Waiter did take the cup of soup off the check.
We've been going to Silver Spring for their sour beef for many years. But this time, something seemed to be off. We showed up at prime time Friday evening when all the other area restaurants were on an hour wait and immediately got a table. Unfortunately, they put us in the back room when there were several open tables in... More
