If you are looking for soup, this is the place. Delicious pho! The place is small. Enough tables. Good advice for the waiter.

The beef pho was good and cheap, but you have to pick up your own food. When your number is called you you collect your big bowls of soup from a very high counter (4.5 ft tall) which is problematic for someone who is 5ft to collect, especially if there is more than one on a tray. Not ideal.

We have been there twice in the past two weeks, and tried the garlic chicken wings, spring rolls, ginger chicken, and the pho. All of it was great! It is a self-service place, but the people are very friendly and customer-oriented and happy to explain if you don't understand something. We will definitely be going back again soon. Very impressed!

Just needed some lunch in Bethesda. I am a pho nut, and noticed the neon red "pho" sign in the window, so I had to give it a try. Wife and I went in and ordered at the counter, and when I paid I dutifully filled in the tip line on the charge slip with about 15%, paid, and went... More

This is a very informal spot....really more a fast food place. The menu has the usual range of vermicelli and grilled dishes plus pho. I had the grilled chicken over vermicelli and my better had the grilled pork. Both portions were generous and nicely presented once we figured out we had to pick it up at the counter. They have... I had the number 3 The flaming Beef, it was the best food I have tasted in a long time. Will definitely be coming back when I am in town again

Simple restaurant in the heart of Bethesda. One orders upon entry and then takes a seat/table. We have tried some noodle dishes. They were good but not extraordinary. However some of the appetizers were well prepared, not greasy, and particularly tasty. The rare beef pho is to die for. I compare pho by the broth. This is pleasant to the... More

I had lunch there on 23 September. The food was well prepared and quite delicious. It was grilled shrimp and scallops, The bowl itself was appealing and the price was quite good. That said, the rest of the experience was less than posh. To place an order one stands in line and pays in advance. Thereafter one is awarded a... More

Perfect for a quick lunch outside of the office. You come in, you order and pay, and then you pick up your food, bus it yourself and get on your merry way. It's never too busy, and it's not going to have a million menu items. But if you're looking for the only decent bowl of pho (maybe only?) in... More

Reading other reviews I agree this place is a dive, but with great food. Recommend eating out on patio or go as take out. We were in town 3 nights and ate there twice. The PHO and Fried Rice were excellent. The fried rice is different then Chinese fried rice and better. Employees are very friendly.

Thank Tom B
