St. Patrick's Day luncheon. We were able to get a table for without a reservation. The place was vibrant, packed, live music- 2 singers...bar area crazy crowded. Beers, Irish Stews, Bangers & Mash, Rueben and Fish & Chips. I rather have Bangers & Mash instead ended up with the Fish & Chips for Lent Friday, and they were out of... More

Food is usually pretty good. The fries need to go back to the steak fries they had a few years ago. My sister had the corned beef rolls, and I had an Irish Reuben. A little skimpy on the meet, but very tasty.

Four of us went on fri Dec. 30-my son recommended this place as he has been here several times. We went for drinks and had a great time-very vibrant bar atmosphere and not too noisy-we could actually talk to each other without yelling. They had a band and they were good-don't remember the name of the band though. A good... More

We were in town for a college football game and found this place to chill after the game. Wow! We had a blast. The food was great, my girlfriend loved her potatoe soup. Then a band from Fairfax VA (Big Band) I believe was the name and Rock the place out!

Attended a 50th Birthday party on Saturday night. Flanagan's Harp and Fiddle did an outstanding job...Jenny and Britney would tremendous. The food, music and service were terrific. Great location, atmosphere and people!

Take into consideration that this was my first and to date my only time experiencing Flanagan's Harp & Fiddle. On a positive note, the place was very fun because of the music and the energy. The drinks were cold. This only experience of mine was that the food at Flanagan's was extremely mediocre at best to sub-mediocre. The kitchen/cook (definely... More

The best part of this Irish pub is that they open practically at any time to show international rugby. To accompany the game there is a good variety of beer and as some games are early, a very good breakfast.

I make it a point to hit the Harp and Fiddle every time I am in Bethesda. The food is most excellent (particularly the steak and Guinness pie and fish and chips). It's a fun and relaxed atmosphere that is easy to walk to (just a couple blocks off of Wisconsin) with a great staff. Highly recommended.

This is an Irish pub, not a gastropub. Don't eat. Just drink. I ordered fish & chips. Chips were good, but the fish was tasteless and the batter falls off easily. That didn't matter since the batter was limp and bland. Tried someone else's sweet potato fries and they were good. Everyone at the table was hungry enough to finish... More
