We were there for dinner with a group of 6. We had reservations @7 and had to wait but no fault of the restaurant. WOW awesome pizza and thin crust as well. Loved the draft beer choices and our waiter was awesome. They had heaters outside if you wanted but had my older parents with us so opted out. Would... More

This restaurant serves good pizzas. Our favorite pizza is all the toppings, especially that of crispy bacon.

On a summer's evening we love to walk to MIA'S for salad and pizza. If it's not too hot or too cold the outside area is lovely too.

The pizza crust here is good, but I felt like the pizza was all crust. The toppings were lacking, barely enough cheese and toppings to cover half the pie. The prices here also seem high for what you actually get.

I've enjoyed Mia's many times in the past, and always thought the food was inventive and well-prepared using top quality ingredients. The pizzas were clever and the lasagna was better than many home made versions I've had. But, things seemed to have changed. A recent visit did not live up to past experiences. Not even close. I tried the lasagna... More

On a recent trip to Bethesda my middle- school field trip had the good fortune to stumble upon this neighborhood gem. Melissa the owner welcomed us like family and proceeded to make our evening thoroughly enjoyable. The sangria was sweet but not cloying, the salcicci pizza had a wonderful sauce and airy crust with fresh toppings. The recommended tiramisu was... More

This is my favorite pizza place in Bethesda. It serves authentic Italian pizzas and has a cosy front yard and inside restaurant. My favorite is maybe the buffalo Margherita.

Although Bethesda is known for its many restaurants, Mia's stands out for its superb consistent quality meals, as well as its homey neighborhood atmosphere. It's not unusual to see Mia answer the phone, act as maitre di, or have a seat at your table to discuss the latest goings on My favorites are the Caesar or miste salads and olive... More

When you walk in and the framed reviews are about cheap eats you know it will be Nothing Fancy..... No place mats and paper napkins. Some interesting apps and a few "dinner" entrees. Pizza is where its at here. BUT--- Order the pizza the way they want... NO SUBSTITUTIONS. On a slow night why did our Calzone and Pizza get... More

We were a party of seven - two grandparents, two parents, and three grandchildren between 6 and 3. Our wood fired pizzas had a very light crust and the toppings were delicious. The grilled chicken with penne was also delicious. We were there early, and most of the diners were families with children, so the place was somewhat noisy. It... More
