Apparently, the thing to get here is the platter. You can't go wrong with this platter!! Crab cakes is the thing in the area and Trey's doesn't disappoint! Some of the others got the crab cake sandwich and loved it. They had to be right because the same type of crab cake was in my platter and it was delicious!... More

Our meal of backfin lump crabcake sandwich as well as a seafood platter were truly excellent! We were about to drive north into the cold and snow and needed a nostalgic feed of Chesapeake Bay specialities. The food and the friendly chat with the owner filled the bill! :-))

We are from KY but originally from MD. We always try to time our visit to Md to coincide with our return from ME to KY by way of our son's house in Glyndon. Capt. Treys is always spot on, heavy and tasty.

I trust Captain Trey's for their quality of food. I only buy my crabmeat from here. I like their honesty about where the seafood comes from and they buy local whenever possible.

Decided to have a crab feast with my family to end the summer. Called early to place order. On arrival they had no copy of my order so we had to wait for them to steam our crabs and shrimp. We waited about 15 minutes for everything to cook. The bonus of this was that all of our food was... More

Over the years Captain Trey's has become my "go to" place to get bushels of crabs. We do a crab feast with family and friends several times during the summer and they have never failed me. The crabs are consistently good and for the most part heavy. Every once in a while a lightweight will sneak in but it is... More

Crab cakes are the best! I have tried crab cakes at many places but Captain Trey's are by far the best.

Lucky for me, they were having a special the week I needed two bushels of crabs. They had the best price around and they were true to size, large and extra large! I picked them up at 1pm and they stayed warm until I needed to serve them at 4pm. People at my crab feast said they were very good... More

Didn't have time to stop at a restaurant so decided to get a couple dozen of those wonderful blue crabs to go. Crabs were good sized and fresh. Place was very busy and they sure moved people in and out efficiently. Best part was the crabs were on special. Turned out to be the most economical place in the area.... More

Crabs vary no matter where you get them, but I'd say that Captain Trey's have been the most dependable of all the places we've tried. Their seasoning is just right for me, not too spicy, not too salty. I really like their cucumber & tomato salad too. And if you go for fresh fish, I think you'll find the prices... More
