This is why I love Trip Advisor! We were looking for a place to eat for lunch and came across this gem. It's on the side of the building behind another business. We weren't expecting what we found inside. The place is made up of small rooms all decorated nicely with patrons of all types; business dress to kids casual.... More

They serve a different homemade soup each day-just delicious! I had a chicken salad sandwich that included bacon and cheese. Delicious! They don't serve desserts,--j8st prinb candy withthe bill.

Despite the address, Side Street Cafe is actually on a small dead end road and not very visible from York Rd. There is a sign on York Rd, that is easy to see. It was very crowded when I was there for lunch and they only serve lunches. The menu is mainly sandwiches. I had a cheeseburger with bacon. It... More

Tucked away in an old industrial building this place is very friendly and the food is always fresh to order. Great wait staff and owners keep an eye on everything. Good spot for a meeting or casual meal.

Went for lunch this week with my Dad. We both ordered off of the special menu and were very pleased with our lunch. Dad got the fish fillet sandwich, it came with chips. I ordered the chicken and filet kabobs with a touch of spice. My kabobs were absolutely delicious! Our glasses were always full and our server checked on... More

Very charming, good food, wonderful service. Across the parking lot there is a lovely antique and furniture store. We all enjoyed a wonderful afternoon.

Biked the trail and wanted a late lunch and spotted this on trip advisor. We were a little unsure from the outside, but went in and were pleasantly surprised. There was a nice selection on the menu and the soups sounded great. We had a delicious mushroom and Brie soup and a blackened chicken tsaziki pita. It was all hot... More

Food is really good and so is the service. Nice variety. The quaint atmosphere is what sets it apart from other area restaurants. Plenty of parking too.

Side Street Cafe has wonderful food with a middle eastern touch. It is a small and charming place that I recommend to anyone for a nice lunch off the beaten path and different from the chains.

Terrific soups; mine was mushroom and was very tasty. The grilled chicken on skewer over saffron rice is delicious. The service is first-class. The décor is attractive; the tables are cozily placed. A splendid luncheon experience. The rest room is clean and attractive. The location is easily missed...look for the U-Haul place; the cafe is directly behind it. We will... More
