This used to be a great place when I worked at the Kelly Springfield Tire Co. They used to have the greatest Steamed Fried Shrimp. No longer on the menu. Also the Crab cakes used to be delicious...one of the best in MD.: No longer. And the service was not fast, though the waitress was great.

We were staying in Cumberland for two days and on the first day we consulted TripAdvisor to see their no one restaurant for a meal and duly went to eat there. Our review of the restaurant appears under their heading. For the second night we decided to try something different and we had spotted Geatz on the way in to... More

Lunch at 1:30. Not too crowded. Waited for the waitress to take a drink order. Someone else had to take it for her. Ordered appetizers. The crabby cheese fries are delicious. My friend had the pretzel bread with cheese. Also very good. Waitress never refilled drinks. Had to go ask for take out boxes. Never checked on us. I'm disappointed.... More

It is like stepping back in time. A locals timeless eating place. Food is good to very good. There are daily specials. I got burger with Blue Cheese and it was great. The soup I got had no flavor. Service was fast and friendly. The bar area was friendly and busy. Regulars were coming and going. A nice place to... More

Amazing seafood. Good family atmosphere. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all good. The crab soup was the best thing we ate there. Friendly and efficient service.

The food has been great each and every time I've been there. Daily specials, great burgers (they're huge) and I can't wait to go back and get a crab cake.
