Great Food and Customer Service

We had family & friends visiting and wanted to have crab cakes. After reviewing their on-line menu, we placed a large order for pick up later that day. The staff was very helpful...nothing we requested was too much trouble for them. Everything was ready when it was supposed to be. We got the crab ball/shrimp combination. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend Roy's for any occasion.

Double Dog Dare

Just had to stop by Roy's Kwik Korner for a chili double dog. Probably the best darn double dog in this area and far above Ann's.

Stopped by for lunch, quite busy. Large menu to choose from. The 2 of us both seafood items and they were really good. Will return.

My husband and I have been going here for years every time we fly from BWI to Germany. We stayed a week at National Harbour and decided to stop by for our "baseball crabcakes". They are now $25, which we can understand prices have went up, but unfortunately the quality has declined. For years we have purchased at least $300 worth of crabcakes to send to loved ones and we did not do so this year. We were really disappointed. The cream of crab soup has always been my favorite with chunks of crab and it was very thick with scant pieces of meat. It was similar to a can of soup variety. I was very disheartened.

Best cream of crab

Can't beat the cream of crab soup. Plentiful large chunks of crab in a fairly thick deliciously seasoned soup. The baseball crab cake is very big, very tasty (occasionally slightly dry). Call the order in it will be ready when you get there. Good food, good value, nice people.

A Little Taste of Maryland

This is a small corner shop that my family’s been going to for years. It’s a great place to get sides for parties. We like their potato salad and cole slaw. They are also known for their crab cakes and shrimp salad. In addition, they also make sandwiches for you while you wait like a deli. And they have a small collection of Maryland themed glasses and dishes and other kitchen items. This stop was for tasty shrimp salad for my 100 year old grandmother. Yummy!

My wife brought home 2 sandwiches from Roy's recently and we were happy with the quality of the shrimp salad sandwich. They can be hit or miss and Roy's nailed it with just the right amount of seafood seasoning, mayo and chocked full of large count shrimp. The turkey sandwich was quite good also but was overshadowed by the shrimp salad. We are going to go for a 2nd visit and try the baseball crab cake we saw on the website.

Great home made dishes!

I ordered the shrimp salad and a sandwich and both were generous & delicious! You can get a variety of home cooked meals here. It's been there forever & there's a reason why. It's not always the cheapest, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Soooooo good!

I grew up in the area but left in 1985. Nearly 20 years ago, I moved back for a couple of years. My family and I LOVED Roy's! It was our go-to place for crabcakes and subs. Not only was the food fantastic, the real marvel was that our large order was always correct! The last time I was in Baltimore was in 2001.o Eight of us ordered food from Roy's and brought it back to our hotel at BWI. The menu is still pretty much the same and I can see from the reviews the food is too,

Good local food

Roys has been around for many years and it's for a reason because they serve good food. They have great crab cakes with lots of lump crab meat and very little fillers. The subs are very good and the portion is huge. Sometimes the person making the cheesesteak subs are a little heavy handed with the salt but this is to often. They offer fresh made pies and cakes along with a full service deli counter.

Great crab cakes

Great take out restaurant that's famous for baseball size crab cakes. Yes, they were the size of baseball and tasted even better. I sampled the potato salad and macaroni salad and they tasted great. I saw an enormous size sub sandwich that also had me order one to go. Yes, I will go back again to try the subs and get some more salads.

Excellent place for a grab and go meal

Had their corned beef sandwiches here on St. Pat's Day. Thought they were outstanding. Very lean and delicious without being salty. Enough meat to remove half and make a second sandwich. Plenty of other sandwiches and seafood selections at reasonable prices.

Baseball Crabcake

I grew up eating here when it was just a little corner store at 5th Avenue and Greenway. Over the last 40 years, food has always been very good. I stopped in today for a baseball crab cake and it tasted like home to me! If you ever get the chance stop and try baseball crab cake. They are some of the best ever.

The best Cole slaw!

We've been customers of Roy's for years and always go back for the Cole slaw and crab meat. Great sandwiches made to order, they are always busy at lunchtime. For large orders they will even deliver!
