I am from NYC and enjoy old time run down diners. This place is authentic. Even the waitresses are friendly and will keep a conversation going. I just wish the food was a bit better outside of breakfast food.

Comfort food, indeed, and a welcome break from the hassles of I-95! Great to see Angie and Miss Cathy dishing up the food and dishing out warm hospitality in equal measures. I had country-fried steak this time with a rich brown mushroom gravy, collard greens, and mashed potatoes. Hearty and satisfying. My wife had a large green salad with a... More

Great prices and food was excellent both in taste and quality. A hidden gem. Locals seem to be regulars and a very homey place. Will visit again and recommend to others.

I visited this place 15 years ago and decided to try it again since iHOP was crowded. I'm glad I remembered this place - breakfast was very good. I had eggs, grits (which were well seasoned and not "washed out" tasting, and fried catfish. I was in breakfast heaven! My husband became an instant fan since his eggs up were... More

I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. It was full of what appeared to be locals and the service was excellent and the entire staff was very friendly. My breakfast steak was a little tough, but the meal was good overall. Again, the service was excellent

I'm sure glad I didn't go by MisterMet's review. As others said it's nothing to look at from the outside. Once you get in you are greeted by a server who quickly sat our party of four. Our order was taken promptly by Tara our friendly server. The omelettes came out hot and as ordered. Refills given without being asked.... More

Understaffed only 2 waitresses handling food ,busing and cleaning tables and working the register. 20 minutes for coffee and juice to be brought to table another 10 for the meal. Pancakes and eggs consist of 3 large pancakes which were cooked perfectly. I would keep away from the hash. A dollop of what is most likely canned that appears to... More

I didn't want to go to this little diner, but my husband talked me into it. It was really good...my only complaint was the ham. It was pressed ham and just was not what I was expecting for breakfast.
