My husband and I ate breakfast here. Good bacon, French toast and my husband enjoyed his pancakes. We also enjoyed wandering the antiques in the store and bought a few things. Waitress very good also.

We went this past Sunday late in the morning. The antiques and unique used items they have on display were very interesting to peruse. Many items that my wife and I remembered from our childhood and when our children were small. Then in the back...of the building was an old fashioned diner with many selections. My wife and I both ordered burgers and the big and delicious. But the best part was the thick and yummy milkshakes. They were fantastic. If you like taking a trip back to past this is the place. However please note they are only open until 1:45 on Sunday and 2:45 the rest of the week, but it’s a great place for breakfast and lunch.More

Awesome soda shop diner food, decades of good food, awesome service and tradition. Its a staple in Oakland Maryland. You will not leave hungry, and check out the antiques and collectibles that are priced fairly too.

As you enter Englanders you can roam the various vendors antiques and vintage selections. I usually look for books but there is a wider variety of uniques & antiques as they say. Then wander to the back of the store where you'll find an old...fashioned mom & pop/diner style eatery with a counter, some booths as well as tables. Service is swift and accurate. Food is the good. We've had burgers, grilled cheese, etc. They also mKe old fashioned milk shakes - the lady that ran it for ages recommended a chocolate peanut butter one to my husband. They make theirs with real ice cream and they are nice and thick.More

Food was fantastic, and we enjoyed walking through the store looking at all of the collectibles. We’ll definitely make it a regular stop when visiting the area.

Stopped here for lunch while browsing their antique shop. Nice people and nice food. The chili was good but was not very hearty. Asked for onions and cheese but very little added. Would come here again. Funny thing. "old fahsioned" place but need to get...a ket to use restroom.More

My family of 6 had lunch here this past week. We have eaten here years prior and always enjoyed the little diner feel in the antique shop. The milkshakes are the best around! Our waiter was very nice. He was attentive, prompt and thorough. He...double checked the order and brought it to us as soon as it was finished being cooked. This review got 3 stars because Unfortunately I overheard a woman correct our waiter on how to write an order down rather loudly in public rather than in private. I’m sure he was embarrassed and I felt bad for him, as it is obvious that all of the servers and cooks are working so hard. Despite that, we will be back!More
