As a native Texan married to a Mexican American, with a Mexican mother-in-law constantly serving me delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine, I set a high bar for what Mexican should taste like. I believe that the cuisine has been completely bastardized by American culture (Taco Bell, Pollo Loco, etc.). Acapulcos walks somewhere on the border between legitimate Mexican food and Americanized... More

This place will not overwhelm you in any category but they deliver with satisfaction in the beverage (nice beer on tap selection), food and service areas. I have been in the humongous dining area but prefer the bar. Good lines to the flat screens to check on games.

Went to lunch at Acapulcos in Beverly and had a pretty good meal. I ordered a chili relleno and tamale and my wife had the beef fajita chimichunga. The relleno is one of the better ones I've had and the Tamale was tasty. The Fajita Chimi was really good and the pastry was more of a light puff pastry which... More

Well-equipped bar with a good selection of beers, the food is good but not great, way to much cheese on everything. The chips would be much better if weren't so heavily salted. Service was very friendly and helpful. You could do a lot worse.

We sat at the bar to eat and drink at Acapulcos. The service was great - quick, friendly and room to spread out (sometimes bar spaces don't give you enough room when you eat). The portions were large, generous and tasty as well of the drinks.

This location is a favorite of my wife and I, we try to visit as often as possible. The service is always excellent as well as the food. This is about the only place we have ever found Negra Modelo on draft, Mexico included. All the food we have tried is as authentic as it gets. Agustin, along with many... More

Service was fine, a bit slow but we were not in a rush. Portion sizes were plentiful and tasty. Luncheon specials only during weekdays, not weekends. No gluten free menu but will make accommodations. Happy and filled.

We have been going here for years, and while it may not be gourmet fare, it is fantastic for families and just a fun restaurant with consistent super friendly service - perhaps the friendliest in the entire North Shore! This is our go to family restaurant and we have been going here at least once a month for the past... More

This is in a combination strip mall, office complex in Beverly. Well-equipped bar, and the food is okay, but nothing special. The chips would be much better if served hot and the salsa is fairly watery. If you want a Mexican place that's nearby, I suppose this is adequate, but there probably are better ones still convenient to get to.
