If you're hungry you'll be disappointed. The menu selections were limited unless you like caviar and foie gras and the like. The entrees were small, more like tapas. The vegetables were more of a garnish. Considering the prices you'll hope for amazing warm bread while you wait but the offering was a hard chewy roll each. The waitress however was... More

Sad to report the Fish House was a disappointment. Not sure what kind of restaurant they want to be? Portions were presented and proportioned to be more in line with hot horsdevors rather than what I would receive from an upper East Side, NY restaurant yet at the NYC price. Not worth the wait to get in.

Love this place. During high season it's impossible to get in so we usually go during the "fringe seasons".

This is a small place, but it will be worth stopping in and getting a meal. Get there early. We were fortunate to get a seat before the rush, but when we left there was a line. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Cocktail artistry, gourmet cuisine consistently. Sushi grade fish starter, foie gras with scallop as good as any anywhere, lightly breaded soft fried calamari starters. Fish cooked creatively and perfectly, gracious service and even a just right fruit dessert on meringue with raspberry cream to share. Upbeat, innovative, and open much of the winter! Even for lunch! Oh my. The downside... More

So happy my boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch. The food was heavenly. After a disappointing sauce induced, excessive, overwhelming dinner at Impudent Oyster the night before, we were thrilled to find a restaurant that prepared seafood the way it was meant to be prepared. Everything was sublime, from the scallop salad to the cod fillet, to the creme... More

A comfortable but cozy restaurant with a lot of heart. The food is outstanding and their collection of spirits is enormous and includes some rare finds (Pappy Van Winkle's bourbon for one!). On our last visit I had the duck, which was perfectly prepared and delicious but we started with some local oysters and the lobster bisque. The oysters were... More

My wife and I on our way to Orleans stopped by the Brewster Fish House for a late lunch. We got lobster bisque for a starter, mussels, and fish and chips. The bisque was absolutely delicious and the entrees were very good. The kale slaw was also very interesting and the service friendly.

We had originally planned to eat here on the previous day, but the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. We heard good reviews from our innkeeper and on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed! We went in for a late lunch (they are open until 3 PM for lunch, close until 5 and reopen then. The restaurant was fairly full so... More

Brewster Fish House isn't really a New England fish house. Rather, it's a fine dining restaurant menu with a more casual atmosphere. The food was very good but the Asian influence in most of the dishes will not appeal to everyone. If you are a foodie you'll find it interesting. I'd suggest looking at the menu before going to see... More
