We had a nice relaxing lunch at the Brewster Fish House. This was not our first visit, but the first visit of the 2015 season. I swore I wouldn't succumb to the siren call of the very pricey lobster bisque, but the best is the best regardless of price. This bisque has the consistency of light cream, but instead of... More

Have gone to BFH for years. I'd have to say it's time to move on. Like other reviewers, I believe it's been declining since chef left for Fin's. It's now just pricey and unimaginative. We arrived on a Sat.night before 6:30. There were a number of tables for four but since we were two we were offered a table by... More

The food was very elegant and very delicious! The restaurant doesn't look fancy on the outside but the dishes were very beautifully prepared and presented.

Excellent small intimate restaurant....the only complaint is that they do not take reservations and since I am allergic to long waits, do not eat there as often as I would like to

Quite frankly their lunch menu is more my style and excellent quality. The evening menu over the past couple of years has become a tad too fancy for me but the food is excellent. My husband was disappointed in the quantity but the quality of all our meals was outstanding. To be honest I had to ask about some ingredients... More

Despite it being Saturday night we were seated quickly. I thought it was a few degrees too warm in the restaurant, but was wife was happy to find a restaurant that wasn't too cold. The scallop first course was wonderful. My wife enjoyed the Kobe and I the Steelhead. Funny Bones dessert was great, too. We both really liked the... More

We liked it so much that we came back two nights in a row. Great fish dishes and the vegetarian plate was a real hit.

We had read several professional reviews about the Brewster Fish House before travelling to Cape Cod and all were good unlike some of the picky comments on Trip Advisor. So we decided to have our anniversary meal there. Wow! The food was first class (lobster special was stunning) and the service was excellent - so friendly and helpful. We had... More

We've been to BFH twice. The food and drinks were excellent both times. Last night, however, after being told to expect a table for our party of six in about half an hour, we waited an hour and a half. We asked if we could order first courses or nibbles outside or at the bar and were told that was... More

Great food, great service. Possibly the best lobster bisque on the planet (and that includes Reykjavik). Downside? They don't take reservations and it's a rather small place, so even if you go early you may have to wait a bit. Also, it is a noisy room (most noise coming from the bar area). However, for me the food is worth... More
