I am a big fan of candy and sweets of all kinds and the Chatham Penny Candy Store does not disappoint. It offers a quick in and out for candy purchases on the go and a very good selection of candy as well. No complaints here. I have been visiting for years and buying candy from here and I don't... This was the second homemade icecream shop we tried and our favourite. Unusual and tasty flavours and generous portions, 'one scoop' was 2/3 spoons of icecream per cone - black raspberry, really tasted of the fruit and maple and walnut contained lots of nuts -highly recommended.

Kid in a toy store.... nope adult in a candy store! Same feeling... Generous selections of salt water taffy, chocolate, and misc. treats that will make you happy! Warning: Do Not Enter when hungry.

Candy sold by the pound. Good selection, but not cheap. Almost everyone was happy with their choices (including kids), but the salt water taffy was tasteless.

Kids and adults don't want to miss this cash only candy store. Grab a bag and fill it up with anything and everything you can imagine or want from Candyland. We were there daily for a week...a sweet touch, a taste, they've got it all. Chocolates, licorice, jelly beans, gummy everything. You know the drill...

Small ice cream and candy place in the middle of the town. Large variety of jars of every conceivable kind of candy known to man. Also a good selection of ice cream which is smooth and very tasty. I had a mike shake that was very thick and tasty. A little pricey, but it is the cape during the summer.... More

My 11-year-old son and his friend were enthralled by the candy bins lining the walls of Chatham Penny Candy. My 13-year-old daughter remarked that the candy was "way more expensive" than a penny. This small shop is often jammed with kids filling bags with sugary treats. I don't love their salt water taffy. The people working here are nice. You... More

The Penny Candy store is on the Main Street shopping strip, so you might have to squeeze in with the others. We bought some great bulk dark chocolate malt balls and salted caramels. The selection of penny candy is wonderful, and its hard to not leave with just one more memory from our youth!

Chatham can be very busy - especially on a rainy / cloudy day when visitors opt to shop instead of going to the beach. Knowing that beforehand will help deal with the high pedestrian traffic and parking availability. But if you go into it with an adventurous mindset Chatham shops and Penny Candy are worth the visit! Penny Candy has... More
