My husband visited the Goose, our visit was casual. We sat at the bar and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The service was perfect and the food delicious! We would recommend the Buratta and spinach salad any day. As far as drinks, we only partook in some house Chardonnay and McAllen scotch. It's a great and friendly spot and we will... More

Had dinner at the Wayside Inn for Chatham's First Night. The duck was half fat and served in a molasses sauce. If the duck was crispy, it would have been considerably better. Any other flavored sauce would have been better. The Prime rib was also half fat. Over all, it was edible, but not much more. Add the inflated price... More

We took my family (a party of 7) to Chatham for Christmas. During the winter many of the restaurants are closed for the season. we wanted to visit Wild Goose, but their FaceBook page noted they were only open Wed-Sunday. While walking around late on a Tuesday afternoon, we noticed they were open, so we joined them for dinner. We... More

As always, had a wonderful dinner for new years at our favorite chatham restaurant. On new years they give a 4 course prix fixed menu with 5 or 6 choices per course. Excellent menu for lunch and dinner through the year

went for some food taken straight away to a table, menu very plentiful in choice, we had soup/then the meat loaf both excellent . The Clam chowder was excellent , better than any where we had tried in new England.

My friend and I stopped in for lunch during our Holiday shopping. We both had seafood dishes that were generously portioned, seasoned well and fresh. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient even though we weren't seated quickly. The neighboring table enjoyed appealing looking salads. My only downside to my meal was the coleslaw. It had no flavor and I actually... More

We had a Thanksgiving meal here. Good service but generic food. Wouldn't do it again. Probably a good place to come for a drink and an appetizer on a normal night.

We loved the antiquated environment and awesome food. My husband enjoyed his salmon and I opted for a pasta dish that was scrumptious. The waitstaff was very nice and helpful. A nice place for a family gathering...children are welcome.

I am not a big seafood person myself so I can not comment on how the taste was for myself personally. However, on behalf of the people I was with I can say they enjoyed their food very much and I enjoyed my non-seafood options as well. This restaurant does not offer anything groundbreaking in terms of food but the... More

We had a lunch time drink in this tavern and it was quite delightful. I had an old fashioned charm that my husband and I both love and the service was good and very polite. We didn't feel rushed in any way, especially because we weren't having food and others were - we felt very welcome. The bathrooms were very... More
