I'm not a fan of tapas, but it's where management picked. The food choices and quality was good, a little pricey though. Service was pretty good. A fan of tapas would probably give it a 5.

Moonstones is a great different type of restaurant. It has small plates from around the world, can always try something you have never tried before. Most recently had the carrot humus which was incredible and the roasted garlic as appetizers. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The bartenders (Cole!) make great recommendations and can describe the specialty drinks... More
I've been there for lunch and brunch, and it's wonderful. Layers of tastes, combinations that tickle your palette, and a sophisticated yet comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

I was at Moonstones for lunch my guests were totally delighted with the menu. I had the chicken parm which was good and hit the mark for my lunch. My guests had a could of salads and either emptied the plates or took the remainder home for dinner. A good meal with good service from staff who knew what they... More
Thank you thank you! We greatly appreciate your sharing positive vibes. Perhaps your guests had the new Hawaiian insured tuna poke special. They have been flying, er, swimming out of the kitchen! We hope to see you again soon. More
We went here because we had to be in Chelmsford and this is #2 there in the TA ranking. We went in and the atmosphere is wonderful. Soft but adequate lighting. Lots of fabrics around and a soft ceiling to prevent it being overly noisy. We were seated immediately in a comfy half booth. The food was wonderfly tasty -... More

My husband and I went here for a date night and could not have been more pleased with our experience. We decided to order off their Global Tapas menu. It's a little on the expensive side, but well worth the price. For the two of us, we ordered 8 tapas, and I'll say that may have been a bit too... More

We have been planning to eat at Moonstone in Chelmsford for quite some time now and finally today we visited them. The restaurant is quite big and was super busy on a Sunday morning which definitely indicates that it's very popular among the locals; moreover there is not many nice restaurants to choose from around that area. The restaurant has... More

We went here for dinner on a Saturday (6:30ish) and were seated right away (no reservation). They provide see excellent service and we really loved their tapas (small plates) style of food. To be honest, we picked this restaurant as it was a midway point between our two towns. I was early, and enjoyed myself at the bar with charming wait staff and a good selection of wine. We stayed at the bar when my friend arrived, ordering off a menu of enticing raw seafood and shellfish, as well as traditional tapas.... More

We've been here before and have always had good experiences, but have never come on a busy night. And Valentine's night was a BUSY night. There were so many things that could have gone less than perfectly, but that was not the case. The service was excellent - personal, friendly, and just the right amount of attentiveness. The food was... More
