This was my first time at the restaurant and it was really nice finding a good Italian restaurant not to far from home. I really enjoyed my meal, the place isn't fancy just very comfortable and our wait person was nice and very attentive. I would recommend it and will definitely go back.

Recently a friend asked if we had been to Brickhouse Café and I said I had never heard of it. The response was: If you want authentic family style Italian cuisine that is as good if not better then anything in the Boston North End, with ample free parking and about 10 minutes from your house, you should try it!... Visited with family. First of all my Bloody Mary was awful, weak and expensive. My pizza was bland and more like a flat bread, it was so thin. My husband's casserole was ok. The menu described it as having meatball slices. There were none. It was more like ground meat. The restaurant is small and unfortunately every time the front... More

Route 109 out of Boston heading south has all sorts of hidden treasures. Brickhouse Cafe is one of them. Located close to McGolf, this newly expanded local classic has become a hotspot. The service is fast. The food great. Prices are very affordable. If you get lucky, you'll meet owner Vinnie Marino, former prizefighter turned club owner/ restaurateur. I've met... More

Food here is always amazing. We live in Needham and always forget about this place. When we do remember about it, it never disappoints. Best Italian in this whole area. Service is awesome too. Hopefully we remember that this place should be more of a mainstay for us. We love Brickhouse!

We are frequent patrons of the Brick House. This is run by Vinny Marino, a legend in the boxing world, and a restaurateur with great fare. One thing you will notice: the staff does not turn over. They love working here, because the atmosphere is great. We have done dinner often and brunch once or twice. The brunch is an... More

We have been there 3 times in a 2 week period. The traditional italian pasta dishes are great. I had the stuffed shrimp one night and then the stuffed haddock, both were a disappointment. I did not care for the stuffing but the fish and shrimp were good. The salads are great. The service is very good. The pizza was... More

I don't understand how restaurants decide to be breakfast places and don't have iced coffee. After sitting down in a mostly empty restaurant and waiting 5 minutes for the waitress we asked for 2 iced coffees. We were told it would need to be made from hot coffee. I don't get it. Weather in the 80s and 90s for 40... More
