We’ve been coming here for years. It’s a 20-25 minute drive for us, but always worth the effort. The owners are unsurpassed in their marketing outreach. Even the internet log-in facilitates subsequent visit promotions. I had an old favorite - Filet Arabica Duo, seared filet...More

My young adult daughter and I ate at Scargo during a last minute overnight getaway (off-peak season). We ate lunch and found the food to be very delicious. Service was attentive as well. Atmosphere is pleasant but nothing extra special. We would definitely return.

We like this restaurant for an evening before or after a movie, the service is good and the food is tasty. Very nice menu choices offering old favorites or something new. Can be very crowded and a long wait, especially in summer.

Went to the bar with friends today. Lovely fire in the fireplace. I had the salmon, a friend had the seafood strudel and another had the lobster Mac & cheese. We all enjoyed our food. Can’t say enough abt this place!

. Had another great but late (for me) lunch at the Cafe today. Seafood stew--or was it soup--was extra great. Would've had a bowl had I known how good it was going to be. Contained LOTS of little shrimp and other seafood. A great food...More

We had the best meal we've had in a long time at Scargo. Beef tenderloin with a coffee sauce was a knockout. Tuna poke was perfect. The lobster risotto could have used a bit more seasoning, but the salt shaker helped. Grapenut pudding and carrot...More

The fare includes guest favorites such as roasted rack of New Zealand lamb, and seafood strudel (a seafood blend baked in pastry) with Newburg sauce. Lots of fresh local seafood and oysters.
