Stopped here on a Friday night, it was the 1st place that was still open for dinner we came across. We love going to Ale Houses and Taverns, my husband loves the craft beers. We got there and it was Karaoke Night complete with the strobe disco lights. It was so dark that they had to raise the lights so... More

This was our first visit to the Anchor Ale House and we didn't know what to expect. There is a bar in the middle with booths around the outside walls. Not a lot of atmosphere here. On this night there was only one person who was both the bartender and the waitress. The service was slow as we waited fifteen... More

Dirty and smelled inside. Bar tender was nice but we didn't even dare order food based on he cleanliness of the bar and restaurant area. Caps on all the bottles at the bar is a dead giveaway that there's a huge fruit fly issue.

Although the waitress was very nice, there was an odd feeling that we felt while there, between the motocross on the TV screens, to the Karaoke guy who was setting up in the middle of the restaurant, to the lack of clients in the restaurant, to the many choices of fried foods on the menu ... We ordered non-fried foods... More

If your looking for atmosphere this is not the place, but if you enjoy good food and a good drink this is a great take. Not expensive and you can see the chef/owner in the kitchen preparing your meal, and the bartenders pour a good drink. Not a lot of personality but with a smile. We got the onion rings... More

I went here with a group of people for karaoke and dinner. It a dive of a place, which is fine with me if the food is good. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good. Our waitress was fantastic though - very on top of drinks. The karaoke was cheesy, but we all had a blast! I would go back for... More
