My wife enjoyed a croissant with a cappuccino. I had a slice of homemade banana bread, with a giant café au lait. Both were delicious, on a moody New England late-August, cool day. This place is not commercial or a corporate coffee house. We all need to support all the individual owners trying hard to make a living simultaneously being... More

My husband made us go out of our way stop there every single morning of our vacation to get coffee, just coffee - he thought it was that good.

Staff was so friendly, coffee was so good. One of the best espresso that we had. You can sit outside (there was only two tables in front of the shop).

I look forward to coming here every morning for great coffee , lemonade and great service from the awesome staff! I think it is really awesome to see the owner there every morning and knows everyone who walks in. This place is awesome and I will only get my coffee here!

Stopped here after strolling the main street and enjoying the shops and windows. We sat outside, which was perfect...although there is much more seating inside. I had a cafe au lait and my friend had a cappuccino. We partook of the delicious brownies and several apricot stuffed cookies (these were unbelievably scrumptious ). Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.... More

We stopped in after lunch and walking around Gloucester. The place is cozy and welcoming. I had the hot cider and it was very nice. Hot enough and great flavor. The pastries are excellent. My wife had the apricot crumbcake and it had great apricot flavor to compliment the cake. The brownie I had was very rich and very dense,... More

This place is great for a cup of coffee and a tea. It feels cozy and there is plenty of comfortable seating. It's convenient as it is located right in the heart of downtown Gloucester.

The latte espresso drinks I bought (8 in 4 days). Very consistent, mild and not bitter taste. Seemed to always have many customers. nice place.

Excellent coffee, with the choice of light, medium and dark roasts and every specialty drink you can imagine. Owners and staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. It's locally-owned and not a chain, so I would try to support them anyway, but it's easy to do since they consistently serve great coffee and baked goods. They also have sandwiches, but I... More

I first went in because they have a reputation for the best coffee in town, and I return every chance I get because it's true! The pastries, from Jim's Donuts, are a nice complement and (just discovered the iced decaf espresso to have when it's too late in the afternoon for caffeine...yum!) you can relax in the comfy furniture to...
