Food was really Good! Staff very friendly.Outdoor and indoor seating. Sat inside because we were trying to warm up from our whale watching trip. Sat at picnic tables. Not very comfortable. You may have to sit by strangers. A little awkward. Only there to eat, did not sample any brews. Overall good experience.

We went after the Gloucester Grand Prix for some post race beers and food. The beer was good as was the food and the service. A solid place to eat.

So many things wrong. The waitress didn't offer us water; we had to request it. We specifically asked her to point out the local and fresh entree options and she hesitated and couldn't really help us out. The first 3 dishes we asked for they were out of (it was 1:00pm). The clam chowder was so-so. I think I've made... More

My wife and dropped in for a drink after doing the harbour walking tour. I chose the Brewing Company pub because the weather was spectacular and I wanted beers in the sun. The patio area was fine and the beers were awesome. A wide range of ales were available on tap. I prefer not to go for the 11% beers... More

We love to try local brews and this place did not disappoint! The beer list is long, I think there were 10 different brews, a nice variety of styles. I had the American Pale Ale (which donates to an ALS charity) and my husband had the pumpkin stout. Each beer suited our tastes perfectly! For lunch we had lobster roll,... More

I love fried clams and have ordered them at at least 100 restaurants/clam shacks around New England over the years and I have to say, these were among the very best. They were sweet and juicy with just the right amount of batter. Just incredibly delicious and delicate, and not at all greasy. I also ordered their 'famous' clam chowder,... More

We sat outside and watched fisherman bring their catch in. It was interesting to watch. The service was average and the waitress didn't know too much about beer likeness but that didn't take away from the experience. We had one of the local brewed beers and they were delicious. The meals were what you would find at your local Applebees.... More

Nice place. Had a quick Pilsner. To sit at the bar and watch the two guys in the kitchen work, is memorizing.
