Passports was recommended as one of two best restaurants in Cape Ann and Gloucester. The other was a bit pricey and not easy to find. We stopped by in the afternoon and immediately made reservations after perusing the internationally inspired menu. Good choice, the atmosphere...More

Wonderful bistro with a great selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups. Everything is fresh and homemade. Nice setting in the heart of shopping downtown.

Stopped in for a quick bite before our whale watch departure. Food was delicious, service was excellent, decor was tasteful, and prices were reasonable. The meal here was the best we ate in Gloucester. A free electric vehicle charging station is around the corner at...More

Fantastic evening of food and wine paring at Passports. Offered once a month, a great way to spend a Thursday evening.

Passports has excellent food. On this particular visit we had swordfish, fish tacos, scallops with pesto cream and blackened salmon. Everything was outstanding. The pooovers are always a plus.

Bread fans, hold on to your hats. They start you off here with warm popovers fresh from the oven. Sadly, they don't serve brunch, which is what we really wanted on a recent rainy Sunday. But the generously portioned smoked salmon on a warm bagel...More

Had a Spanish bouillabaise, very good. My husvvand did not like his oyster soup, too full of potato. The server did not take complaints well when he spilled part of a Cote du Rhone wine on the table. Another server had to come and wipe...More

Sesame scallops sounded good on the menu. When it came it was scallops heavily encrusted with black sesame. The taste of sesame was so strong that you couldn't taste the scallops. Scallops are delicate don't need a lot of flavoring. It was a failed attempt...More
