We stayed in October across the road at Vacation Village, and ate dinner here one night. This place was packed every night during our week stay, so we thought it would be really great. It is a typical family-style American food restaurant, with eclectic 'country' decor--clean and well-managed, but nothing special. We ordered ribs, which were tasty, and trout, which... More

The place was small but quaint. The table were we sat, was really close to the next one. The food was great. We had warm bread which was very good. My husband had stuffed haddock and he said it was delicious! I had a grilled chicken sandwich which was very tasty. The waitress was great. Would definitely go back again.

We stopped here with another family to have dinner before 13 Nights at Jiminy. What a great place!!! Service was super friendly and efficient. Food was amazing!!!! I ordered the ravioli special, butternut squash with a brown sage butter sauce with walnuts. OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Portions were generous. A bit pricey but definitely worth it!!!!

Local establishment, in the same family for decades. Cozy place, welcoming staff. Good food. Generous drinks. Popular spot for visitors to Jiminy Peak ski resorts.

At vacation village... walked to the restaurant, hoped for a reasonably decent meal. No... average. The sole seemed pre frozen. The chicken parmesan was unremarkable. The chicken cordon blue was dry. Fortunately the server forgot to bring the calamari. In their defense the salad was generous in quantity and acceptably flavorful. Wine choice bland. Scenery around here is great. The... More

We ate at Powder Hound two evenings in a row. Clam chowder is excellent. Fish and chips are average. I had the Redneck Snowballs off the appetizer menu. You get three large fried pulled pork and mashed potatoe balls covered in gravy. Very tasty. Waitresses are polite but you have to remember, "Relax, you're in the country".

While staying @ the Wyndham Bentley Brook, we had an opportunity to try the Powder Hounds Restaurant & Tavern, which is right outside the entrance to the resort. Since they are closed on Tuesday & Wednesday, we made it there for appetizers and drinks on our last night in the area, right before their closing time. The waitress couldn't have... More

Decided to go here for dinner the first night of our 'gal's vacation.' We were not disappointed. Waitress was great, food was great, atmosphere was great. We were too full for dessert.

Our service was very good. My husband had the stuffed sole and raved about it. I had the chicken marsala, usually a favorite but this was very different. I have no doubt it was just not my preference. The chicken was covered in a doughy flour coating. I did not complain as I will return and try something else.
