We plan a trip to Cape Sea Grille every year that we are in Harwichport. The ambiance is simple and beachy, a couple houses away from the water. It has a nice bar where we prefer to sit. The bartenders are very nice; this year I couldn't drink due to being pregnant but the bartender James (I think!) made me... More

We've been traveling every summer to the Cape from the Midwest for more than 25 years and the Cape Sea Grill is one of those truly memorable establishments that never fails to delight. The dining experience has to be counted as one of the consistently finest anywhere along the eastern seaboard.

Words cannot even begin to describe how amazing the pan seared lobster is. Cooked to perfection and accompanied by asparagus and a saffron broth reduction. Perfection on a plate !

We ate as a couple at the Cape Sea Grille in July. This was a beautiful evening with delicious food and great service. Everyone from the hostess to the bartender to our server were friendly, helpful, and courteous. We made reservations for 8pm and we were not seated until 825pm but we were well taken care of at the bar... More

Recommended by someone who has a cleaning service business on The Cape. Delicious sea food. Our first time here. Very quiet and refined but not stogy or "stuffy." Unusual and superb sides. Excellent wines. Very superior and attentive service. They have the best dark chocolate mousse (it comes dark & milk chocolate but they were willing to give me all... More

Located between Rte. 28 and the beach, the Cape Sea Grill is a worthy destination for seafood as well as land based dining. The menu features seasonable and fresh ingredients and a decent wine list. It is clearly popular with local denizens and frequent visitors. The ambiance is pleasant; the service is correct and polite but friendly. Our server was... More

The Chef here was a James Beard Award Winner ten years ago and it shows. He still has his creativity. Each selection seems to use unique combinations of purees, sauces and other enhancing elements that bring each item together to form a whole experience. Wonderful was the Rack of Lamb with a Sunchoke Puree in addition to a brown sauce.... More

As real foodies, my husband were thrilled to learn that this restaurant sources most of its ingredients locally and the result is amazing. We visited twice during our stay to Harwich and had the set menu one of the evenings which was delicious, the service also was excellent.

We heard from locals that this was a great restaurant so we decided to try it out. We went on a Monday because they are closed on Tuesdays until July. We had their fixed price menu which consisted of appetizer, half-size entree and dessert. My husband had their mussels for appetizer and we were surprised how big they were. They... More
