Nick's Nest has been operating in Holyoke since the 1920's, and continues to be a local landmark. They don't have a big menu, but they concentrate on making a few things well. There are hot dogs, french fries, potato salad, and macaroni salad, as well as fountain drinks, bottled sodas, and milkshakes. Pretty much all of what they offer is... More

If you like hot dogs this is a great place to get your fix. Great fries and other fast food items including soup and burgers.

Had to stop and eat at Nicks Nest as I often did 50 years ago! It is wonderful. The best fries hands down anywhere. The hotdog is steamed, the bun is fresh!! The staff is great. They have ice cream now and a walk-up window outside although we are inside. It's a small place and they have limited seating but... More

I Love going for the hotdogs. Best in the area. Fast, great food at cheap prices. Always busy but worth the small wait. They are always happy to serve you and make you feel good just being there.

Very cool place. Like stepping back in time. Great hot dogs! Baked beans were a little off... not as flavorful as I had expected. Otherwise, a place to experience!

Stopped here the other day after sons hockey practice. Grabbed a couple dogs and fries. They came out quick and tasted good. Friendly staff

Great hot dogs. They are expensive but amazing. Stick with the basics. They have expanded the menu outside the 100 year old menu. Hot dogs, pop corn, frappes, and beans are the way to go. I like the chili and cheese on the dog, but if you are a purist stick with the basics. They have a 2 dog and... More

If you haven't had a hot dog from Nick's Nest you haven't had the best hot dog in the area. The place is small, but spotless. The atmosphere is fun. They have awesome hot dogs and the home made baked beans are also awesome. The waitstaff is very friendly. Then you have to end your meal with their creamy soft... More

I have heard how great the hot dogs were but not for me. Thought the buns were soggy, the beans bland and no flavor in the sauerkraut. It has history Ok but have had much better hot dogs elsewhere. Also counter help not friendly or understanding to someone new. We did not know how to order properly and she made... More

For something as simple as a hotdog, Nick' Nest know how to make the simple into memorable. Their beans are good, but a tad on the salty side. It's a fantastic, small, comfortable place to eat and chit chat, and then be in your way.
