We stopped in for a mug of beer. The bartender was friendly and helpful. We wanted a snack, asked for fries. They didn't have any. However, the home made potato chips were pretty good! Salute!

I hate to leave bad reviews but sometimes this place gets too busy and they do not have enough help. Twice I have gone here and twice I left after being seated but before being waited on b/c no one ever came to wait on us.
We took our toddler along for lunch. Great atmosphere and the booth along the side of the restaurant were very private which was great with a little one who can at times, be unpredictable. I knew we wouldn't bother anyone. The beer menu was really great, we tried a few. The food was delicious. Treat yourselves to the nachos but... More
BBC is only around the corner from the hockey rink and we had a group of 10 so we decided to give it a try. Hostess was friendly and got a table set up for us right away. Our group filled up the restaurant and the food was excellent. I had the mahi tacos and they were great. The adults... More
I had a late lunch here Oct 28 2016 and ate at the bar. I enjoyed a few different local beers and the bartender was very good at explaining them. She let me sample them before ordering if I wanted. Very friendly. The menu is pretty varied and has some good English pub style selections as well. It's kind of... More
Good take on British pub, extensive chives of beer - both on tap and bottles, les so of vine. The food fare is very good and varied, the portions are generous. Especially liked the salads and fish&chips. Can be loud but not excessively so. School kids coming for burgers after school in droves, so better skip the early afternoons.
The food was good. Had the half sandwich and cup of soup, but watch out for the $9 glass of cider! The price of the cider was not marked on the menu, that should have been our first clue that it was expensive.
We stopped here after a day in Nantucket and were tired and cranky. But the service and food were excellent. We had a very private booth and being a Thurs. night it wasn't very crowded.. We both got a pastry dish. Mine was chicken in ale and my husband got the beef. We both enjoyed them. We also enjoyed the... More
