Myself and 3 friends went to the hideaway for lunch. The food was delicious and the waitress was very attentive and courteous to us. I'd will definitely go back. It was a little hard to find but after a few wrong turns we did find it! And it was worth the trip!

On 3/7/17 went to dinner and asked when they would have the chicken salad back. The waitress replied not until summer months. I faux complained that I could not wait that long so she put a note to the kitchen that a customer was requesting it. She took my phone # and said well when we have it we can... More

Went to try the prime rib that was raved about on Facebook. The restaurant is old fashioned - bar like. Server was friendly and efficient. Dinners were good. Portions decent. Could use some updates.

Thanks for giving us a try. We do offer another smaller dinning area downstairs with no bar but with full service. We are now in the planning process for redecorating and facility updates this spring. Any suggestions are welcome. Hope to see you again soon. Thanks Damon More

Very good clam chowder and when they have the home made pickles they are worth the trip alone. Great for breakfast or dinner. Large portions good price. The place shows some wear and tear but I think better to have good food and less atmosphere than other way around.

Went here two Monday's in a row to meet friends while camping nearby. Got their 1/2 price pizza specials both times. All we tried were very good. Four of our friends got a $9.99 dinner special which also came with soup or salad & dessert! Will always eat here on Mondays when visiting this area! Specials on other nights, too!

Headed out to dinner based on an ad in the hotel directory and what a pleasant surprise. The good was quite good, freshly prepared and quite good. Good desserts too. It's a local favorite it seems so don't expect a quiet dinner but still a good, enjoyable value.

I notice mega staff change. Bartenders too busy talking to eachother to be efficient, Filet Mignon wasn't up to par. What's up? All the regular staff on vacation, I hope the cook isn't too.

It's been awhile since I've been here but we will be coming back more. Husband got the seafood special and really enjoyed it (one problem was the loaded potato - he didn't know what it was and didn't really care for it) I got the shellfish pie and it was delicious. The Servers were excellent and friendly made us feel... More

My friend took me to the Hideaway on Saturday evening and the moment we walked into the basement, it was clear that this was a very popular restaurant and that the locals loved it. Everybody seemed to know everybody else. We had a bit of a wait for a table but it was very much worth it. We chose an... More

The name says it all, it really is hidden away, you wouldn't just happen upon this restaurant. The food used to be really good and the prices were as well. The lower prices offset the atmosphere (which is dark and at times very noisy, both in the 2nd floor bar and basement dining area) and the inattentive waitstaff. Unfortunately, the... More

I as most business owners of course do not like a not so positive review, but take them as an opportunity to address sometimes not so obvious problems. We will be having more staff and or training meetings asap to address the service issues. Consistency is one of the most important things in the food service industry and we will... More
