We buy our lobsters from them and have other summer meals there. Very good food! They make their own seafood chowder and buy the clam chowder. They also make a lobster+corn chowder which is my favorite.

Bob Lobster is a great place to grab some fried seafood or fish, and settle in to a picnic table with (BYOB) a beer and some friends.

This place can't be beat for the senses... right on the main drag but feels like a secluded hideaway. It's a perfect romantic destination and the food is outstanding too! We love the scallops and clams - and highly recommend the fisherman's platter. BYOB but there are several places nearby to grab a drink afterwards.

Each time I visit this area, I make a stop into Bob Lobster for great seafood. The food is absolutely fresh aND hardly fit's on the plate. Expect to leave full. I prefer the fisherman's platter with a side of lobster corn chowder. But it is all good. And whatever you get is going to be great. And you can... More

We stopped here for lunch after visiting Newburyport, and we are SO GLAD we did! We had lobster rolls, which were made with huge chunks of lobster meat and very little mayo, crab cakes, and fries. The food was incredibly fresh and high quality. The place is very casual, and the employees were all very friendly. They have a clear... More

When I see a line of people waiting to get inside you know its probably going to be good. And we were not disappointed. I was visiting from Florida and could not get enough New England seafood all week. This was a perfect ending. Ended up having a lobster roll...delicious..and clam chowder. But everything I saw looked absolutely amazing. Beautiful... More

Took a day trip to Plum Island and passed this place on a spit leading to the island. Wow! My kind of place -- fresh, scrumptious lobster roll for a decent price. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Very casual, relaxed setting. Seat yourself, with indoor, or outdoor, tables. Fried seafood coating was delicious, crispy, and not at all greasy. Fresh, with live lobster tank on premises.
