My brother in law celebrated his 90th birthday and was the guest at a party of 25 friends and family. O'Hara's is a personal favorite of his and we had a great time. The service was excellent and properly paced. The menu contained a wide...More

The city of Newton has more than a dozen distinct "villages," my favorite of which is Newton Highlands. It's a comfortable neighborhood right off the Green Line "D" train route. Whenever I go there I enjoy O'Hara's. The pizza is one of the better "bar...More

Steady favorite of ours. Just wish they brought back the O'Hara wings onto the menu. Always busy, so plan ahead. Very nice bar and friendly staff.

My husband and I go to O'Hara's as our regular Friday night go to. Great food for a neighborhood pub. It's down-to-earth yet top quality with a very wide selection. They have a great bar that you can either have just drinks at or sit...More

Personally I like to eat at the bar. O'Hara's also has table seating but I prefer the pub style. The atmosphere is friendly with a lot of regulars as well as newcomers and the food is always fresh, plentiful, good, and reasonably priced. Great beer selection...More

I stopped in to grab a quick lunch. I had a very well made bourbon and the turkey sandwich on whole grain was very good. I was in and out to get to the airport but will visit again when in Boston.

I visit O'Hara's fairly often for both lunch and dinner. Compared to other pubs in the area, their menu is more extensive, and there are plenty of seats to keep the wait time at a minimum on busy nights. Food quality is more good than...More

We had a very pleasant dinner at O'Hara's. Service was excellent; servings are substantial. My burger and onion rings were great; the shepherd's pie was good. This is a very popular place, so we went early on a weekend night.

So worth the wait, it was really busy the Saturday evening we were there, however the staff were friendly and we were able to quickly get a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. As usual the food was very good, cooked to...More

While O'Hara's is a great place to eat, it wouldn't be my first choice for Sunday brunch. I prefer the brunch at either the Fairmont Copley Plaza or the Ritz-Carlton on Boston Common both are on the pricey side but the array... More

O'hara's did not used to take credit cards but they have for some time now. They do not take reservations, but since their addition, waits are not so bad.
