Nice place for an ice cream (love the coffee heath!) and a popular BC student hang-out. Owners are very kind and employees are always helpful and friendly. Pretty pricey, though, compared to other places but paying for homemade and family owned.

We live in the BC Neighborhood and love the White Mountain Creamery but it is always filled with college kids. There are often lines and it can be raucus in a happy, collegey kind of way. The ice cream is homemade and excellent. I think they make a fabulous hot fudge sundae. They have soft serve but I would love... More

I used to love this ice cream in college. Came here to see BC with my daughter and told her it was the best ice cream ever. Both our ice cream had freezer burn and was tasteless. I should have realized when it took 5 minutes to scoop it that there was a problem. For $5 a scoop, I would... More

Came here after some grilling with some friends on their recommendation, and we were not disappointed. They make the ice cream right in the shop, so you know it is fresh. They also have special flavors every day, with plenty of toppings to go with them! I had a milkshake, while all of my friends had cones, and they said... More

i have been enjoying white mountain creamery for at least 20 years. the smell from their waffle bowl making is OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the home made ice cream is the best. get the peppermint stick if they have it, if not, get the cookie monster. fantastic. my ladies also love the mint patty yogurt and the sorbets when... Their ice cream may not be the very best in Boston, but their hot fudge and whipped cream (thickly home-made in a stainless steel bowl, no aerosol) are top-notch. The "small sundae" is so decadent you may wish you made arrangements for last rites from B.C. across the street.

My boyfriend is a BC alum and has been here several times. He always talks about how good this place is and we stopped on a recent trip to Boston. Let me tell you this is some of the best ice cream I have ever eaten!! It’s nice and rich and creamy. So many flavors to choose from and they... More

Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious ice cream. You cannot beat the Cookie Monster based cake! Located right at the end of the Boston College branch of Green line.
