We were famished when we got into Oak Bluffs on the ferry for our most recent Vineyard vacation. We had heard good things about Lookout Tavern, but had never been. We made it our lunch plan. It didn't disappoint. The food was great and so were the drinks. They have typical NE seafood fare and pub favorites, as well as... More

Been here with family and enjoy very much our whole time here. Had chowder, Fish and chips, Caesar salad, steamers and lobster roll. Portions were enormous and SO tasty. The fish was amazing. Really. Ann was our server and she did an awesome job. She came to check on us every 5 minutes and make sure we were doing ok... More

In my opinion, key spot overlooking the Oak Bluffs ferry pier out to sea -- best for taking in July 4th fireworks or ice sunset. Here like at Nancy's the mudslides are the draw coupled with seafood dishes. It's spacious with in & outdoor seating, casual and nice bar setting. Bottoms up.

Thought it would be a great experience. Ordered Calamari with a sweet and spicy Thai sauce,(ended up being tiger sauce) and three minutes later our entree's arrived. Waitress said," hey, I can't control the cook!". Wife ordered the tacos, which were stale and they didn't have any salsa for them. I ordered the "whole belly clam plate" which listed "market... Love the Lookout Tavern! Great sushi, original lobster roll or hot buttered/sautéed one. Try the Lookout punch! If you can get a table on porch with a view of Oak Bluffs dock so you watch the ferries come in. Not a big fan of tables on the side outside but definitely an option for larger groups.

Visited this place on a Friday afternoon before our ferry back to Falmouth. It is round the corner and away from lots of the bars and restaurants in Oak Bluffs. We had to give our names and come back in half an hour as it was rammed. Lots of people just drinking there rather than eating, but then it is... More

When we made our way up the ramp and got seated we were inside the Tavern, a decent distance from the deck but closer to the bar and television sets for the game. If you've seen the view and don't care about the ambiance, than this is as good a place as any to catch a Sox/ Pats game. If... More

The Lookout features an extensive list of mixed drinks, seafood and pub food, and offers a nice view of the ferry harbor in Oak Bluffs. The open air atmosphere is refreshing, and the place was filled with people enjoying the view. I had the grilled yellowfin tuna sandwich, which was excellent. The sweet potato fries are great, and the local... More

What do you think of when you come to Martha's Vineyard? Sun, surf, great food and drink? It is all here---incredibly picturesque, outstanding food (known for sushi, but try the ribs--the best in Massachusetts!). Sit out by the railing across from the Ferry. Have your favorite cocktail. You will love it!
