The lobster roll was delicious but the clam chowder was thin and not very good. The waitstaff-3rd generation was sweet.

Captain Cass has a loyal and dedicated following, most of whom wish it was open for more than just the summer season. Home of the famous "All meat, no filler" sign referring to their excellent lobster rolls, my favorite is dish is the fried scallops, which are large sea scallops that are cut into bite-sized pieces, and are the sweetest... you can't beat the funky old fishing shack atmosphere, not fancy, not large, not air-conditioned......but the seafood is the best in town. we had a great lobster roll, fried oyster plate, fried clams & fried scallops------all huge portions & fabulous. another plus---it's byob. our out-of-town guests loved it! great service, too.

We had to wait a little before space opened at the counter, but I already knew that I was going to order a lobster roll. I had been on Cape Cod for a little more than a day and hadn't had one yet, and a local friend pointed us in this direction. It did not disappoint! Maybe the best one... More

Simple but excellent food. From fish and chips to lobster roll, everyone in our party liked their dish. Though not really handicapped accessible, we managed to get a wheelchair into the small dining room. Staff very helpful and friendly. We will be back..

This is the place to come if you want a great lobster roll (we shared one between two of us) and a very quaint bay-seafood-shack type atmosphere. Skip the she crab soup and keep it simple. The only downside was we went on a hot day and the place has no air conditioning - not even a fan to circulate... More

Amazing Lobster Rolls, huge portion, reasonable prices and friendly wait staff made our lunch enjoyable. Tiny indoor dining with what looks like original '50's decor. Highly recommend!

Capt Cass has been open since 1958 and I'll guess that not much has changed over the years. It feels the same as when we first ate there about 15 years ago. Plastic forks, paper plates and paper cups set the tone. The fried seafood is consistently delicious.

Have eaten here a few times over many years. The atmosphere is like going to your neighbors for dinner. Everyone chats with each other and the waitstaff is friendly too. Salt water treats with no frills. BYOB is a plus. When you're stuffed you can walk the marina and watch the best sunsets around.
