I fish for tuna for a living....over the winter, I like trying sushi at restaurants... They nailed it. Best presentation I have ever seen. Reasonable pricing for fancy rolls. Now I can go fishing and try to copy them at home. Yeah, right. They were that good.

The sushi here is very good but the other foods are just average. The staff is alright, hostess station not so friendly. Would recommend the sushi but that's about it

I think my recent dinner trip to Sushi Joy will probably be my last. Our waitress didn't even greet us when she stopped by our table and just said "drinks?" before heading the opposite way. Waited about more than twenty minutes just to receive my entree, how about the appetizer I ordered? Not wanting my entree to get cold, I... More

If you are trying Japanese and Chinese dishes for the first time and a bit apprehensive, you do not need to worry. The lunch choices are plentiful and cater well for the western diet. All my friends enjoyed their choices including terriyaki chicken, steak, boneless pork rib, tempura, bento box lunch and I enjoyed my sashimi special. Price is reasonable... More

Always fresh; great lunch specials. Kiss the Fire Roll is a favorite. This restaurant is clean and comfortable and while they so a good business, there usually no wait at lunch time.

They have 1.00 oysters every night and are they delicious!!! We love them:) and the hot and sour soup remains a favorite as well as the sushi to order. We appreciate the great job all the waitstaff does to take care of us and other patrons. While we miss Judy being able to wait our table we still get to... More

We found the place from TripAdvisor while we have a family trip in the area. We ordered Sushi and Chinese. Foods were good and service was not bad. However, I noticed they charged $1 for a cup of tea, and I refilled once, so the bill had $2 for two tea. Not being greedy, my entire bill was $200 including... More

We eat at Sushi Joy in Plymouth once a week (sometimes twice). Sometimes we eat there, sometimes we get takeout, but it's always consistently great either way. Each time I try a new sushi restaurant, whether it's another local spot or an expensive place in Boston, nothing compares to Sushi Joy. My favorites are the spicy tuna maki, King Dragon... More

Place is very well decorated and seems more upscale than I expected. Service was fast despite being very busy. I ordered the spicy tuna maki lunch special. Soup and salad included for under $10!! Barely more than a fast food value meal! Everything was fresh and very well prepared. My new lunch spot when I'm in town!
