We stopped in from out of the rain to taste the delicious bread roll sandwiches and enjoy fresh raspberry turnovers. For cheap eats made with pride, stop into the bakery and let your taste buds go wild.

Nice little shop. Can't say the staff is extremely friendly however the food was wonderful. Cod cakes a definite to get along with the Pastéis de Nata.

We were in Provincetown for the day and our first stop was the Provincetown Portuguese Bakery! The Malassada was the reason for our stop. The baker makes these in the front window. Don't let your Weight Watcher points deter you from having one for yourself!...More

On our day trip to Provincetown it was cool, gray and off and on drizzly. We spent the day walking about town and visiting all of the little shops. We walked into the Provincetown Portuguese Bakery and felt as though we'd hit a Gold mine!...More

Love this place. I know it's Portuguese but it reminded me of the North End in Boston. Everything is made with skill and care. Just the smells when you enter tells you you have found a GREAT BAKERY. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE. Everything is amazing....More

I saw the ad for malassadas in the window and knew I had to try it. A+++. My companion had an almond merengue which was also good.

we picked up bread and pastries for breakfasts at the cottage before heading out for the day. The sweet bread with a little butter in the toaster went perfectly with coffee in the morning! (visited 5/26/18)

I believe there was a dog in there when I was there but it is a very tiny bakery and there is a spot to tie a dog up outside if you're going in to grab something quick.

The history of Provincetown’s Portuguese Bakery is nearly as shrouded in mystery as the recipes for its famous pastries. While everyone agrees it has been around “forever,” no one seems quite certain of a date. One of the... More
