The Monkey Bar is a usual hangout for us when we go to P-Town. Our bartenders are what make the place so much fun. Alfredo and Mike are the best!!! We laughed, we drank, we laughed some more. They know how to work their crowd, get people their drinks quickly and still have fun. Great selection of drink choices...always interesting... More

We stopped in at the Monkey Bar due to the tantalizing Thai menu hanging outside. We got a table in one of the quieter areas of the restaurant after being nearly blasted out by the music at the front. After puzzling over the eclectic Thai menu with atrocious prices, we settled upon traditional Thai fare including Pahd See Yew and... More

We wandered in for a drink or two and enjoyed our visit. Interesting crowd, quite eclectic, all very friendly. One small note: this is a martini bar, so if you are a scotch guy (as i am), you are out of luck--- not that it is the bar's fault, it is explicitly a martini bar. (We did not eat anything... More

We had been in the sun all day and wanted a quiet low key dinner. We ordered the lobster bisque which was fabulous and two appetizers. Calamari and lobster bites. Both were lightly breaded and flash fried. Perfect for a fairly quick meal before a show. We ate at the bar, which we both prefer. Makes for quick service and... More

When you visit Ptown you must go to the Monkey Bar. The drinks are cold and always great. The beers are ice cold. I stop by often for lunch. Always more then I can eat.

I have written and published an earlier review, which I intend to somewhat here. It deserves revision because as I have had time to reflect and appreciate more fully what they have to offer here. In fact, I have been a return customer every day since I wrote and published the review that was a "tish" harsh. In the original... More

A fun place to drink with friends, take in the local scenery, and maybe meet a great dog named Riley. This is a fun, fantastic seasonal bar in Provincetown. Mixed drinks are very nice… I would skip the wine!

One of the best chocolate martinis! A very comfortable atmosphere for friends to gather. The TV monitors play music videos and are a great conversation starter. A relaxing place!
