We were a party of four eagerly anticipating our first time at this restaurant. Excellent view, clean environment, nice staff. Server was very inexperienced and started off by scratching our friend on the arm with the bread tongs. Bouillabaisse didn't have garlic in it, lobster...More

Anthony's is located on the water in Swampscott. The views and setting are quite nice. The vibe and the cuisine is decidedly not cutting edge-this is more like good comfort food in a somewhat upscale setting. I enjoy going, though others in my family are...More

Great view, very good food, old time atmosphere with cloth tablecloths. I went for lunch it was a little pricey but for the view and atmosphere it was worth it, a nice splurge.

Anthony's restaurant consistently serves good food. The wait staff is very good ,but there's a bit of an formal feel to dining there. I've eaten there for many years and it's always been this way. Others I've spoken to about Anthony's don't like this about the...More

Anthony's is something of a throwback: The look and vibe is very much out of the 70s. But the good is good, if not especially creative, and the setting on the ocean is very nice. Service is good too.

A favorite restaurant for many years, I chose it to be the meeting place for an early dinner with our daughter and son-in-law's parents. The setting is beautiful for such an occasion. However, the cleanliness of the place is in question. Even our waiter was...More

I really want to like this restaurant. But I find myself not even wanting to eat the leftovers which are now attractively packaged in my fridge. The view is amazing. It has plenty of parking--unlike most other Humphrey Street restaurants. (But watch for the potholes.)...More

We live in Oregon but my husband is originally from Weymouth and every time we went back to see his family we would drive into Boston to Anthony's. The last time was 1988 or 89. Not sure. Is you menu similar to the original? I loved the popovers and mushroom brought around before dinner by the lovely staff dressed in period costumes. Do you still have that at this location? Popovers are the best and they serve them at this location too.

Hi Pier 4 Many years ago, our family ate at Pier 4 on the Boston waterfront for special occasions. Is there any way I can get the Strawberries Romanoff recipe they used? I have tried others but they don't measure up to Pier 4. Thanks Marcia
