Very friendly server, very veteran/active duty oriented giving a 10% discount (NOTE: one wall dedicated to vets service organizations), we had breakfast menu at noon. $6.95 for 2 large eggs, toast, home fries, bacon or sausage plus $1.25 for endless coffee. One of the best tasting breakfasts I've had in quite a while. You have to take the time to... More

I can't believe this place got good reviews. There's a wind blowing through it - I was freezing and food was mediocre. No thank you.

I love finding places like this - on a street that not many people travel, in a building you wouldn't notice if you did. Based on the feedback on TripAdvisor and Google, we stopped in for breakfast on a recent Sunday. We arrives right between breakfast and brunch times, so we lucked out and got a table right away. I'll... More

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day and this is a great go to for a super breakfast. They serve up good portions of great breakfast food which includes (my personal favorite) their "potato chip" style home fries....yummm...could eat them all day. Another thing I especially love about this place is they are very Veteran oriented and... More

This is a local, small diner that serves good food. The owners are friendly and care-they will do whatever they can to make sure customers are happy. The portions are generous, prices reasonable.

I honestly can not remember where I first heard about this place, but I KNEW the minute we walked in and were greeted with a big "Hi There, come on in and sit where you like" we found a good place. Then we tried the food and we just can't stop going back! The Chuck Wagon is just one of... More

I have visited many breakfast places, but this spot is absolutely “Squared Away!” As soon as you walk, you quickly discern that this breakfast nook is all about the veteran experience. Patriotism is the order of the day…every day. A copy of the Declaration of Independence and the Gettysburg Address are proudly displayed, along with many other veteran related symbols.... More

As others said, don't let the location deter you, the food is Excellent and filling. We both had to try the corned beef hash and we were not disappointed. Large pieces of real corned beef, onions, peppers and potatoes. Good service.

This place is a hidden gem. Don't be deterred by its location or appearance. It is a true diner with a huge menu. Corned beef hash is fantastic. Specialty pancakes, like the gingerbread pancakes, are amazing. This is probably one of the only places where you can get deep fried Oreos and fried dough all year round. The owners are... More
