Brunch offers everything you could want from fish tacos and burgers to omlets and french toast. Orange juice is served in big 12 oz glasses and is delicious. We went with teens. Everyone liked their choices. For myself I ordered eggs Benedict. Lovely muffin, paper...More

We had fish and chips but the fish was not fresh. It has a very fish smell. The batter was too thick. The beef short ribs was bit dry. We had to ask for extra gravy. The place is very crowded weekends. Service is good...More

I've been to the Cottage several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and have enjoyed my meals, but the large, open room with high ceilings provides for a noisy atmosphere. My favorite meal was a breakfast in June where I set outside and could hear...More

Wow - what a hidden gem! The storefront hides an upscale dining room that offers amazing food and comfortable, relaxing dining. Selection is seasonal and often changes, so you won't get bored.

We waited 40 minutes on a Friday evening for a table. Once seated The service was great. The food less so. The lamb Raghu was very strong with hints of fennel. It tasted like old mutton instead of lamb. I'm a big fan of lamb...More

Before going to a movie we decided to have a quick dinner. Even though the service was quick, the options to choose from were so limited! They had barely any vegetarian dishes let alone vegan. That was very disappointing. What we needed up sharing was...More

We love the cottage, the menu is consistent with a wide variety of new and different entrees, THE NEVER DISAPPOINT. Last evening we arrived early ( getting old and like to eat on the early side), lots of tables for 2, attentive server and yummy...More

Had brunch. Found the environs sterile and with no character. The food was OK, but nothing memorable (I had an Eggs Benedict, where the English muffin needed more toasting and there was very little Hollandaise). Also, we saw a more seasoned waitress training a new...More

Description
The Cottage Wellesley has it’s origin in two different lifestyles. John grew up surfing the beaches of Southern California. Laura grew up in Wellesley and is the third generation in her family to have a business in town. Our decor, service and food reflect the casualness and familiarity of So Calif and the sophistication and warmth of New England. Please take a moment to say hello on your next visit. Welcome to the Cottage! — John + Laura
