I have been a customer of Lawadessa for years and have never been disappointed at all! Their food is fresh - delicious and leaves me craving for more! I was so happy that friends introduced me to Lawadessa! My first exposure to middle eastern food...was when I lived in Florida and found a tiny tucked away place call "The Middle Eastern Bakery" and since then I have been addicted to middle eastern foods! I see people complaining about the prices - well their prices are on point with any other restaurant - even lousy ones! Lawadessa is my go to place for comfort foods! So happy they're still here after the long Covid battle! Thank you to the Lawadessa Restaurant family! Please don't ever go away! Oh yes, one more comment - a man asked me while I was there "what's good in this restaurant?" and I answered "What ISN'T good here?!" If I could give Lawadessa 10 stars I would!More

Cute counter service restaurant with a good sized menu with grab and go items available. Got chicken kebab and chickenshawarma fries, tabouli and cinnamon sugar pita chips with Lebanese coffee. Coffee delicious, pita chips needed more cinnamon/sugar, fries were good but missing acidity and seasoning,...kebab same. Tabouli …while I know is authentic was inedible….screeching acidity, unbalanced and needed salt. Overall needed a punch of flavor.More

We drove up from Providence looking for a restaurant that had a different taste or theme. They did not disappoint as their middle eastern type menu had a large variety of cuisines from all over that region, yet focusing more on Lebanese. Their flavors were...outstanding. We started with the stuffed cabbage which was delicious. For dinner, I had the Lamb Shish Kebab Meal while my husband had the Kefta Shish Kebab Meal. Both were outstanding as the one thing that really caught our attention was the hummus as it was some of the best we ever had! For dessert, I had the Turkish Coffee, now called the Arabic Coffee, which was on point and very flavorful. For such an out of the way place for us, they were excellent with authentic flavors which made this restaurant well worth the trip.More

Cute little place with large portions, and every time I go the food has always been delicious. The lamb is always mouth-watering and you can tell that it is homemade hummus. My fav has to be the flavored pita chips and the shawarma fries. Order...them every time, will never be tired of them. Limited hours and expensive delivery fees (delivery is a new feature) its a small family-run business, so worth it IMO. Always very sweet and accommodating staff. Lawadessa is a regular request at my house!More

I frequent Lawadessa. I find it consistently fresh and delicious. I love their chicken kabob, baba ganoosh and falafel. I am sorry to see any bad reviews. The staff is pleasant. In the time of the pandemic it is welcome relief if I can’t go...inside a restaurant I can still enjoy a change from home cooking. Ellen. South Easton resident.More

Chicken Shawarma is perfect, absolutely delicious. Also loved the hummus, grape leaves and the Lebanese grilled cheese (which the kind lady made for and encouraged my very picky eater to try) Looking forward to returning.

Excellent food and service, atmosphere is fine, its kind of small. And can get hot on a sunny day. I was so jappy that they now serve beer and wine! What more could you need❤

Lawadessa is a weekly lunch take-out ritual in our family. We also eat with friends here. Chicken Shawarma is our favorite. I no longer purchase hummus in the grocery store now that we have a steady Lawadessa supply. The seasoned pita chips to go with...the hummus are a guilty pleasure. The lentil soup is divine in winter. We feel lucky to have these friends feeding us all their Syrian specialties here in Southeast New England.More

The meat, beef or lamb, was carved off the, sword? pole? Unfortunately, the pieces were dry, tasteless chips and looked like mulch! The salad was a joke. It had maybe two lettuce leaves, with a slice of tomato. That is it. The rice seemed to...be the supermarket brand; I suspect they did not make it. The portions were tiny as all 3 were on one PAPER plate. I will never go there again--even if they paid me. I cannot believe they are still in business.More

I love Mideastern food, so I was very pleased to see the expanded menu. On previous visits, I have been very pleased with the beef shawarma. Anything with lamb has been very good. But to be truthful, on my last visit, I wanted to continue...listening to WBUR FM, so in the car, I ate the tabouleh salad, baba ghanoush, hummus. All were excellent. The only thing I didn't like was the Syrian Moussaka. It had no eggplant, except two thin "strings" of eggplant, and many chickpeas. The sauce was tasty, but NO eggplant! If you are a beginner to Mideastern food, start with the hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouleh, and any lamb dish.More

We went to this place because it was the middle ground for our families. We came from Maine, NH, CT, and NY. The food was good. We all got something different and shared. I personally don't eat food from the middle east, but it was...actually pretty good. We were a family of 11 so seating was kind of a mess. We basically took up the whole place.More

I love middle eastern food - have eaten at all of the middle eastern restaurants in Norwood and Dedham MA and numerous others over the years. Lawadessa is excellent, especially their Hummus. I have only been there a few times and have had their lamb...kabobs and their lamb chops and not only where they both excellent but the rest of the items on the plate were great too, including, believe it or not, their rice. My problem is that I eat too much when I go!! I spoke to a few other patrons when I was there last week and they were all raving about the food - one who said that the Falafel was fantastic but I haven't tried it yet.More

The best place around, definitely a favorite for my family. Food is always fresh & the owners are the nicest people. I’m always being sent home with something extra, weather it’s something new on the menu to sample or some chocolate for my boys. My...favorite is the Chicken Shawarma Plate or the Lawadessa Salad. The place is small, not many seats maybe 6 tables & outdoor setting in the nicer weather. The service is great, type of place you feel home at .. honestly! If you are in the area give Lawadessa a try .. it’s something different if you are sick of the some old takeout or pizza place.More
