The Whately Inn is a fixture in Whately and has a varied and interesting take on Old New England fare with a Louisiana flare. The quality is excellent, service is most enjoyable and occasional new or trial additions to the menu. Reasonably priced. A bit...More

Best Roast Duckling. We've had a few catastrophic holidays at home due to weather or timing and have always been welcome to eat at the bar when the dining room is booked. Excellent service and friendly owner.

Fine, quiet dining. A little history, and a lot of local flavor. Wonder staff. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived 30 minutes early to sample the drinks served in the tavern. We were delighted by the wine list and outstanding customer service. Dinner was served at 5 pm and in 15 minutes all tables were filled. Reservations are a must. The menu is...More

Don't think they bother with the gluten free menu. More of an old school "chef owned" classic place.
