Luck of the draw. You're spending money either way but more often than not the owner/bartender and some of the other bar servers treat you like you're a distraction from whatever it is they'd rather be doing. The food is good sometimes but if you eat at or around the bar you can digest while some members of the staff... More

Primarily a bar for locals, with a small number of tables. Menu features regional favorites at moderate prices. The "Bah-Burger" remains a favorite. Try to go in the evening when a food server is on staff, otherwise you get indifferent, often poor service from the bartender who views you as an unwanted interruption to bar traffic.

After the suggestion that we go for the Tuesday 2 for 1 dinner special (choices are a few selected items from the menu). I read the reviews before eating at Black Sheep Bah & Grill. First impression was the table seating, space wise was a little tight, close quarters. I understand the need to maximize seating but the alcove off... More

Four visits now and we have decided that the kitchen could use improvement. The roast beef night is a good bet. The fish dishes can be good or iffy. The service is always good. The beer is always cold. The wine is always reasonable. The trivia game is fun. Give it a try you might hit a winning night.

This is my "when I don't feel like making dinner" restaurant: I have been here many times and it has always met/beat my expectations. My last visit was the Sunday after the 4th: I was returning home from CT and stopped to have one of their Sunday Burger specials. It was very good, worth all the time I had spent... More

My wife and myself like to try different places. Black Sheep has a $16, 2 for 1 Entre Special. I ordered the Scallops and my wife ordered Pot Roast. My scallops were OK but swimming in water. I had to pour the water off. My wife's pot roast was tasty. The ambiance of this cafe is poor. We were seated... More

This is one of our favorite places for lunch and dinner. It also has a great bar. The food is all prepared to order and we think it has the best fries on the Cape. It does get busy in season so don't hesitate to go early. Unfortunately, we have introduced many people to this place and its popularity continues... More

The pub appeared to be very popular with locals, which is a good sign. It did not appeal to us and after a quick drink we left. The setting is nondescript and I wouldn't make a special trip to go there.

Great service, cool Cape night, quiet patio, prime rib perfectly cooked plus real horseradish, and a glass of Aussie Shiraz. It could have been much better Friday night

A "Cheers" kind of place on Cape Cod. First time out - this unique place is impressive. Tuesday night buy two entrees get one free ... and the food was great. No free beer, but there is a plentiful selection and its all very cold. Bartender/waitress were 1st class. bar crowd was friendly and engaging with the Trivia game Countdown... More
