My friend took me to lunch here on my birthday and it couldn't have been more lovely. We had a really great server, Lynn, who gave us advice on what to order. After an excellent quiche and delicious brussel sprouts, Lynn brought out an adorable little cake with a sparkler on top. This cake may be the best cake I've... More

My friends and I really enjoy Restaurant Week for the area cities. With Birmingham, we expected all Class A establishments. Townehouse had been recommended by a friend of one of my companions so we decided to have our dinner/book group meeting there. The first thing I asked was what items on the special dinner menu had garlic in it. Our... More

Whether for lunch, drinks or dinner this place rocks. The bar is amazing, to include a huge selection of bourbons and some very rare ones, but they make excellent and unusual mixed drinks as well. Very cozy and food is terrific.

I like when a bartender suggests something based on few questions and pair it up with a nice appetizer

Townhouse is a pretty average establishment. Decent food, nothing too special, but slightly overpriced. Service was good, and the venue has indoor and outdoor seating.

We met good friends at Townhouse and had a great evening. The v & t was one of the best I've had! Short glass, twist of lime... and little square ice cubes about 1/2 in diameter which did an amazing job of cooling the drink and mixing the flavors. The burgers were also incredible. The Townhouse Burger is a big... More

First time here. I thought it was cozy and the staff was accommodating. Only had drinks but the people watching was a 10.

Met my kids for lunch yesterday and I am so glad they picked Townhouse! They had more breakfast dishes while I designed my own salad, which was incredible! I had dined at the Townhouse in downtown Detroit, but think this is equally special. Definitely coming back!

Eclectic menu leaves you wanting more. If it weren't for the outdoor "scenery" this place couldnt make it. The downtown venue is equally dissapointing

"Known for being home to "Detroit's Best Burger" or often times as "The Hottest Dive in Town". The Townhouse menu features inventive, classic, all-American, wholesome comfort food, made with the kind of farm fresh ingredients, you won't find anywhere else. The bar is stocked seasonally with colorful glass bottles of infused fruit and spiced vodkas and citrus and pear tequilas. The wine list is eclectic and impressive and the extensive beer menu is as good as it gets. The Mint Julep is to Kentucky what the Basil Smash is to Detroit. Made famous by this most spectacular, modern yet rustic brasserie-style eatery that expands come summertime from its cozy dining room onto a large glistening garden-style patio. Located in the heart of one of Metro Detroit's most fashionable neighborhoods, the menu is "All-American Goodness" and the brunch is out of this world. If you like to people watch, this is the place. Townhouse is open (7) days a week serving lunch, dinner and, brunch on the weekends." "Birmingham's Townhouse Bistro has comfort class ... ... And a burger that reminds us of some Pulp Fiction dialog...." -The Metro Times
