This was around the corner from the hotel where we stayed. My husband ordered the chicken ranchero grilled pita, and I had the chicken schwarma pita. Both were excellent, and we felt the prices were very reasonable. We would love a place like this to open in Orlando where we live!

Went here for dinner, service was great! However, I have been to many Mediterranean and middle eastern restaurants. This place charges you extra for feta in the fatoush salad!!!! This is a given as part of the salad. They also don't give you free bread and garlic spread like EVERY other Mediterranean restaurant in the metro Detroit area. That was... More

I am a fan of Mediterranean food and I am a super fan of Pita Peddler. It is located in a strip mall off of Gratiot (north of Hall Road and West of I-94). The Pita Peddler sign is small, but "Mediterranean" is large. The food is plentiful and flavorful. The bread is hot and delicious. I have eaten take... More

This is one of those places in a little strip mall that the locals always know about. Mediterranean fare that is well prepared and seems freshly made. The soups are very good. Salads are too. We've had gyros, swarma, kebab, hummus, and it was always excellent. Reasonable with great service too. My favorite in this area.

The grilled pitas are on a thin spiced pita and are absolutely delicious. On Halloween night I pulled in just before close to order two pita sandwiches. They were made to order and awesome. I ordered one that unbeknownst to me was a cold rolled up pita. This was for my wife and she like things a certain way if... More

I ended up here accidently but I am glad I did. I ordered Fatoush Salad and falafals to go. While I was waitting, Victoria bought me water. She was very helpful in figuring out what to order. BTW, the food was fantastic. Number of vegetarin choices and prices were regular. I would go back again.

Following some Yelp reviews, I decided to try the Pita Peddler (it was close to my hotel). I arrived at around 8:00 and was promptly greeted and had the option to dine in or carry out. After ordering a drink, I decided to try the hummus and a buffalo chicken pita melt. The hummus arrived first; it was a huge... More

This is a family run restaurant with either sit-in or take out. Their food is fresh and delicious. My wife says the chicken shwarma is the best!! I've had several different entrees and all were great. The homemade hummus is best I've had. Very friendly family.
