Stopped in for lunch, only a 1/2 hour wait. That is good for this place. The reason being the food is delicious, especially if you are into Polish food.

We waited three hours for a meal here. I'm Polish and thought this would be worth the trip. #itwasn't My dad makes better Polish Food---honestly, I think people just eat here because of the atmosphere. I would rate the food 2/5

Beautiful historic building. The polish food is exceptional and served in large portions. Plenty of seasonal brews as well. There is a great backyard style sitting area in the rear with outstanding views of the lake. I took some really good sunset pictures from here...More

Chose this restaurant because they offer polish dishes and was very disappointed with the service at the bar and the information we were given on how long it would be before we would be seated for dinner. The beer at the bar was skunky so...More

The food and service were very good, just not a lot of variety. Polish food is what is on the menu, along with some seafood. The view of the "pinky" of Michigan and the turn for Lower Laker ships to cross into the Mackinaw Straits...More

Sat at the bar because they were busy. If Polish cuisine is dry and bland, then we should have stayed away. Overheard our bartender speak to the coworkers in a condencending tone about a variety of things, including why we hadn't expressed our dissatisfaction with...More

Dinner entrees range from $17-24, more for market price fish.$5.50 for a glass of draft beer. A little pricey for my taste, but a special place.

Description
***LEGS INN IS CURRENTLY CLOSED-WE WILL REOPEN IN MAY 2018*** Located in historic Cross Village, Legs Inn is a "monument to nature." Built on a high bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, it is unique and mysterious as seen in its architecture and decor. The fantasy-like atmosphere of this medieval looking stone, timber and driftwood landmark was created by one man, Polish immigrant, Stanley Smolak. He fell in love with Northern Michigan and its people, many of them Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and decided to settle in Cross Village in 1921.The entry foyer, tavern, game and dining rooms are all filled with an intriguing collection of nature and hand carved furniture -- whimsical creations made of tree stumps, twisted limbs and roots, driftwood sculptures and massive fieldstone fireplaces.Authentic Polish cuisine is our specialty. Throughout the decades, Legs Inn has become a famous dining destination, acknowledged by the press and guests from around the world. We look forward to your visit.
