This pastry shop is located in Greektown right across the street from Greektown casino. They have an incredible variety of baked goods all look great and are nicely displayed in glass cases. This place often has a line and shop is small. We bought a...More

No trip to Detroit is complete without visiting the Astoria Bakery in Greektown. Be prepared for lines that usually extend out 5he door. Wonderful, fresh pastries with plenty of variety to satisfy your cravings.

Astoria Pastry Shop is a stop every time we visit Greektown. We're never disappointed. Very large selection pastries and service is usually very good and prices are reasonable. I will agree with one comment that my selections this time were dry; however, they were great...More

This place is kind of a joke. The pastries are not great, the cakes are meh, and by gosh the coffee is terrible, and their backup is a Keurig? Their cream is skim milk, the employees don't seem to know how to use an espresso...More

Went here to get a snack/dessert. There are so many yummy choices and ice cream too. Prices are a little expensive, but is really good for any sweet treat you can think of, they have it!

Walking into the Astoria Pastry Shop is an extraordinary experience! Surrounded by cake, cookies, pies, pastries, doughnuts, tortes, candy from the front to the back of this historic Greektown Pastry Shop. The pecan brownies are my favorite. My must stop at Detroit Landmark to bring...More

A delight for the eyes and palate. Love a late night stop. Always lively. There is a small casual seating area to eat your deserts after you order.

Hi there, I did not see birthday cakes and I would just presuppose since they are in the heart of Greektown, that any cakes/pastries will be a Greek type specialty! The balava is delicious, but I don't think you can get a... More
