Only visited 4 times, but every show has been awesome. Can't wait for the next band. Prices are great for cocktails and the staff are friendly and efficient. Next visit we will include dinner.

Pricey but good and interesting food, can't beat the location for the annual Thanksgiving parade. Great place to get dinner before a performance at the adjoining historic Majestic Theater.

I was in a group of nine last night at the Majestic Cafe. Our reserved table was ready and waiting, our waiter was attentive, personable, and knowledgeable of the menu items and specials. The food was great!! Many in our party got the seafood special and really enjoyed it. I got the lobster mac and cheese. I was surprised at... More

My wife and I arrived around 6:15 and sat at the bar before we headed to Ben Folds and DSO. I get that it's a bar nada Detroit favorite but let me explain. Part of the problem is that they were understaffed - the bartender seemed to be operating at warp speed, while those few around him, including management, seemed... More

We had the pleasure of dining at the Majestic Café while visiting from Florida. It was by far one of the best meal we had on our trip. The chef, Joey Zainea, made a meal that was perfection. They take pride in using great produce and Joey knows what to do with it. His presentation was beautiful and everything tasted... More

My husband's chicken pot pie was huge and so good. I had a salad that was very good, but I had a little regret over not getting something a little more sexy. They had an extensive menu that was interesting and different. The service was great, but there was not a lot of atmosphere. There is outdoor seating in the... More

This was a real find for this group of out-of-towners. We needed a lunch break from going thru the ruins of the old Packard factory, and the Majestic exceeded all expectations. I had mozzarella sticks that were truly gourmet (see photo). My daughter had crab cakes that were excellent, especially considering how far those crabs had to travel. Two other... More

Who would think? Fine dining in a bowling alley! Our bus driver told us we had to go into the Majestic Bowling Alley to check out the art. We did. The art was funny, funky and unusual: 1930's style large paintings of buildings in Detroit being knocked over along with the bowling pins. They had neon incorporated into the paintings,... More

First time at Majestic Cafe last night with my wife. Waiting for a concert at the Theater upstairs. Seated right away. Bridget waited on us right away. Very friendly. She answered all of our questions on menu items. Did not try any drinks cause I knew I would have a few at the concert. Started with the Majestic drumsticks with... More

Our waitress Christine was so much fun! She convinced us to try a brunch special -- sadly I can't remember the name of it -- but it was a perfect piece of pastry smothered in powdered sugar and drizzled with a berry and chocolate sauce combo. According to Christine, it was a delicacy from New Orleans that was just introduced... More
