Great location across from MSU, and besides the inside restaurant, it has a very nice outside patio area. Food and service remains very good. Sevice is fast.

The patio at the Peanut Barrel offers by far the best people watching in the Lansing area. On Grand River Ave across from MSU's Berkey Hall, it's still tucked away in a small alcove by a soothing fountain with a statue of Cassiopeia. Their drinks are solid. The Long Island is their specialty, and they limit customers to 2. If... More

Basically the peanut barrel is an institution. Good burgers and beer! Personally, I love the olive burger. Friendly staff and good service… Thanks!

This place is right across from the main MSU campus. Very popular with students and locals. The food and experience are worth a visit.

Peanut Barrel has great burgers...my favorite are the olive burgers with Swiss cheese. The outdoor patio lets you watch the word go by and the indoors is full of locals enjoying their food and beverages.

The prices aren't too bad, and the burgers and fries tasted pretty great. It's probably more fun to go during the spring and summer when you can sit outside. The inside feels a little cramped. And the long islands are famously good.

I love the PB as a place to meet and hang out with friends. Warm weather patio is perfect. Service is friendly, food and beer is cheap and plentiful. Convenient watering hole to MSU campus.

This is a good neighborhood bar to go sit and talk. Gets a crowd of mostly msu staff and graduate students. Good burgers, simple menu. Good place for drinks. Has outside patio in warm season. Not best place for kids

We've been regulars there for many years, getting to know the people who work there well. Love the people watching on Grand River, and the Olive Burger is my fave burger.

Enjoyed lunch at the Peanut Barrel when visiting our daughter in East Lansing on a Sunday afternoon. It was highly recommended. The chili is the best I have ever had. Amazing. The all around food quality was great. The fries and chicken salad were wonderful. The hamburger was just okay for me. It is 1/3lb, so smaller than some of... More
