Food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and efficient. It has unique décor for the area with lots of clocks and other gifts for sale as well.

Great stop if you are looking for something unique. Small dining area in the back of a store front for a cozy feel. Service was good and food was delivered quickly but some of our choices fell short of our expectations. The bakery was wonderful so even if you can't stop to eat just stop for a sweet tooth fix.

Unique, quaint and sooooooo very good! We celebrated our uncles 90th birthday with a hearty bowl of soup and delicious desserts. The beef barley soup was so reasonably priced and so filling we almost didn't have room for dessert! As it was a birthday celebration we had to have dessert. Everything is homemade and fresh and delicious! A "return to"... More

Quirky shopping surrounds you while you eat, from jewelry to art, from clothing to baked goods, browse a bit while you wait for your food. We had breakfast that consisted of Swedish pancakes, sausage, Swedish meatballs, potato pancakes and lingonberry jam. All of it was delicious, not a single complaint on the food other than we were so full we... More

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while traveling between Marquette, MI and Green Bay, WI. We both ordered swedish pancakes, one with bacon and one with meatballs. Our meal was very filling and delicious. If you love swedish pancakes, this place is a must. A minor negative: the coffee was weak. The interior decor is a cross between great-grandma's kitchen... Yes, this place is unusual (lots of "items" for sale on the walls) but the food was very good and the place was cheerful and quaint. We all liked our meals. We were traveling with visitors from Sweden who found the meatball sandwich very good. Nice friendly service.

Go out of your way if you can to enjoy this one of a kind restaurant in the U.P. I savored a Ham & Swiss on authentic limpa (Swedish rye) bread for lunch, along with split pea soup. Don't forget the bread pudding or rice pudding for dessert. This is the food I grew up on, so I can vouch... More

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Mackinaw City. Had a delicious lunch. Service was good. We ordered a bread pudding for dessert to share. The waitress brought it out already divided in 2 seperate dishes. It was delicious!

We stopped on our way both directions this year and were not disappointed. The pastries are delightful and the meals very satisfying. Its a good reason to take the northern route to Vermont from Minnesota.

We attended there for dinner and breakfast. Everything is made there. I feel the breakfast is the best. While on my visit a man stopped in who had driven 5 hrs out of his way for a pie. I am not a pie person, but it must be good.
