Because we were in the neighborhood, we decided to try Sushiko again after a few years of not. Not for any reason except we don't live as close to here as before. We were really happy we did. We over ordered per usual. The fried oysters were delicious! The fried dumplings with wasabi and chili sauces ditto. The ten don... More

The owners are kind and warm. Food is ok. Price could be a little lower considering is not a pure Japanese food. My sushi was ok, the Amachi kama was pretty good.

Great place to get fresh sushi. Great service in a small intimate atmosphere. Food was outstanding and good portions at reasonable prices. Full bar available too.

we used to dine here very frequently. however, the food quality was only mediocre during our last few visits. that's unfortunate, since it's so close to our house.

We lived in and visited Japan frequently over the years, so I was really amazed to find this gem of a Japanese restaurant in suburban Detroit! For starters, we tried the shrimp tempura with veggies, while the lotus root was missing, the pieces we tasted more than made up for it! We selected two different sushi plates and both were... More

Oh my goodness. You cannot imagine how good this sushi place is. I am so glad I listened to someone who lives in the area and went here for lunch. Not just that but the value for what I got for lunch was beyond a good deal. It's not enough to get a good deal. The food has to be... More

Thanks to the auto industry, it's not hard to find exceptional sushi in the Detroit area (and yes, I've been to sushi places all over the country). Sushi Ko is even better than most, easily as good as what you'd get in the Bay Area. Have been here at least a couple dozen times, and never had bad food. Staff... More

Been meeting my sister here for lunch recently and trying different things on the menu. Been getting the Sushi as a carry out for a few years and always love the Dragon Roll. Today I tried a sizzling stone bowl with rice, beef, veggies and an egg. Interesting. Would have enjoyed it more with a bit of sauce, I used... More

I actually hesitate to write this review...Because I don't want this place to become overcrowded. Sushi Ko is an authentic Japanese style place. The sushi bar is the focal point of the place with only about 8 tables. The chefs yell greetings to you when you enter and thanks when you leave. I have been to many similar places in... More

I stopped in for dinner tonight, as part of a business trip to the Detroit area. It's a small place, and you might miss it from the road. It also looks a little sketchy from the outside but that's only from the outside; inside is nice. I had their Alaska combo, which was four pieces of salmon sushi, a salmon... More
